OVERVIEW
Every demon and ritualist across Inferis knows that the Hell Princes reign undisputed.  Through all spheres, soul energy is monopolized by the archdemons, their wills undisputed in their realms and kept only ever so loosely in check by Lucifer.  Throughout the history of Inferis, their power has never been challenged…until now.

The Greyscale Insurgency was formed by like-minded ritualists and demons bent towards a single goal: equality for all inhabitants of Inferis.  At their core is the fundamental belief that each of them is entitled to self-determination and that the greatest continuous threat to the possibility of demonic equality is the lingering and oppressive power of the arch demons themselves.

They are warriors and tacticians and diplomats, the "best" of Inferis (in the sense that they tend towards a sense of higher purpose, no matter what their ultimate personal motivations) who are willing to put aside their petty desires in order to form valuable alliances and take on that most dangerous of tasks, killing the Hell Princes in their own realms.

EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING
Based out of a ruined fortress in the Stygian Tundra, Greyscale has only existed for a short while.  Most members are recruited for their personal outlook or for their abilities.  Talented members willing to teach others frequently use their staging grounds as training facilities, and while the bulk of their useful equipment comes from a large stockpile of conventional arms, their most useful asset is the intelligence network that connects all members to information and direction.

ADDED NOTES
Currently directed by Etreven, a well connected military tactician and intelligence officer on earth who has built a wide network throughout Inferis in order to guide Greyscale to victory.

Greyscale maintains uneasy alliances with disparate groups like the Nephilim and The Four Blades, willing to work with any group that might improve their odds at evening the playing field.

The bulk of Greyscale membership comes from like minded Ritualists and Demons, though Civilians can also join in as far as their connections on earth make them useful to the cause.
