The Preamble to the Greatest Story Never Told

Rio De Janeiro. The former capitol of the biggest economy in South America. Center of the organ trade and full of all things good and bad. The statue of the savior stands high above the world, arms wide as he looks over the crime infested streets. Too bad the bastard was made of stone and not flesh, this city could use a savior. Rio was a hive of scum and villainy like most of South America, and was the perfect place to execute one of the most ambitious and critical operations ever set forth by any intelligence agency. It was all locks across the board. Hell, the leaders of countries didn't even know this was going down. But here it was. Twenty separate organizations from the world over were meeting in one place to discuss something that concerned each and every one of them. You see, agencies aren't blind to the obvious. They don't ignore something when science says it's impossible. they just file it away and task someone to look into it. The person assigned could be anyone. From a top agent to Bill in the mail room, but I guarantee you someone is on that shit. looking it up. With whatever clearance they have they will be seeking out an answer. The X Files TV show wasn't as far fetched as some might think. While unlikely that the FBI has any division like that I know that the CIA, NSA, MI-6, ISI, and the North Koreans have something just like it. They have poor suckers tasked with looking into rumors and Popular Science shit. I have done my share of looking into the unknown and I have filed many a report it. Not only that, but I made it my business to know the unknown. After all, knowledge was the powerful weapon we had. As it stood we had no clue what we were up against. At least not until that meeting. Not until we compiled all of our facts. It took nearly a hundred agents from all over to meet and swap files to even start getting a clear picture on what was going down. Even then, it wasn't like any of us got to send our files back to our respective employers. I guess in hind sight it was a bad move. You don't put that many high value targets and enemies in one room together. Just asking for trouble. Doesn't matter any more though. There are some things in this world that people don't want you or me to know. It's our job to make sure we do know them. I'm putting this on record because it needs to be said. Someone needs to try and tell people about it. The world can't just ignore this. I know I'm not going to ignore it. Nope, I'm going to be on the winning side. I'm going to pick where to stand and make sure I check mate the right people and things at the right time. You know, do exactly what I'm best at. I know White's doing the same thing. I hold no grudges, though, after Rio, I don't think we can really look at each other in the eye anymore. Maybe us splitting up is for the best. Anyway, enough preamble, listen close and I shall tell you a story, the likes of which you have never heard before.
