London, England
It had been a long time since Seishin's feet had been on United Kingdom soil. The last memory of London that he could put a finger on was most likely the night he got blasted when he was accepted into the SAS. He was around all his good buddies from boot camp. They had gone to 5 establishments that night, hopping from bar to bar. His three buddies. One went on to retire, while the other had died in service and the other.. Well.. He didn't know what happened to the other. If they knew what he was into now, they'd give him hell for believing in "jesus and fairytales". If only they could know the real truth. The truth he fought for twenty some years to smother in the shadows.
Seishin needed something to eat. He wore shades and a head band to keep his hair somewhat neat. He didn't straighten it. Today he wore a old weather Pantera shirt, with the sleeves torn off, with camoflagued pants. With his youthful appearance, his style didn't make him seem out of the norm. As he strolled down the street, he kept a lit cigarette in his mouth. It was a bad habit, and he had broke his streak. 8 years is a long time to harbor a dormant addiction, but sometimes it resurfaced. Keeping his head lowered, he took one last drag off the stick before tossing it down to meet the underside of his foot. He decided to get a few drinks and have some food. He would be alone, and hopefully he didn't stir any trouble. His Paladin medallion hung freely from his neck, and his pistols were tucked in his belt holster. He didn't leave the house without them.
As he opened a door to one of the diners, the bell chimed. As far as he could see, it wasn't too busy. Seishin was greeted by a hostess, who put off an air of uneasiness in his presence. With his attire, he didn't blame her. Holding up one finger, the hostess nodded, taking a single menu and leading him to a two seater table by the window. After sitting down, she left immediately. With a small sigh, Seishin took off his glasses and placed them on the table. It had been too long since he ate in London. It was always fun to watch the people walk by. As Seishin saw the vague reflection of a wait staff in the window, he turned and was greeted. "Hello sir. What can I start you off with today?" The waitress was at least in her thirties. She looked jovial, and didn't seem too put off by his appearance. Seishin returned a smile."I'd like to start off with a beer. Guiness if you have any, please. And a glass of water, too." She gave a nod as she didn't even bother to write it down. Granted, it wasn't so hard to remember such a simple thing, but he even forgot important things. Sometimes he had a lot to get done in one day. Seishin glanced out in the streets as he propped his elbow up, resting his head on it. Today was the 9th anniversary of his friend's death in Ireland when he was stationed there. He remembered how gruesome it was, too. A pipe bomb of IRA origins had eviscerated his comrade. He wasn't there to see it happen, only to fly in and identify the body as his friend. It was a shame that war took men who gave their all to the world. He prayed everyday that his friend went to the gates of heaven and passed judgement. As an SAS officer, Seishin protected the values of justice, and hoped he wouldn't suffer fire..

Re: The Home [OPEN]
'Nancy Henderfild'. That was her 'name'. At least that's what her ID said. However the woman inside was hardly that. Or rather- barely it. For once Nancy was conscious. However, it was almost as boring to have Nancy conscious as it was to have her sleep through the whole time. She barely spoke and when she did, it was to complain and whimper. THE GIRL HAD NO BACKBONE. It was weird hearing herself think that, though- but Nancy agreed with it anyways.
Her uncle had insisted after his niece's breakdown in DC, that she needed to go out and make some friends. Apparently the only way she was going to do that- was to go eat at a diner. Nancy, of course, despised the idea. She had wanted somewhere that wasn't swarmed with swarming with people. When Ana came to be in her body, well it was abruptly explained that Ana needed to go and make friends for Nancy.
Boy was Nancy lucky that Ana wasn't an angry demon or she might have been dead- but friends? Ana supposed she could try and make them- she guessed. She had NO CONCEPT OF MONEY. Hopefully Nancy wouldn't mind too bad when she was broke.
Inside it was boring and pretty empty except a young-looking man by himself. Well- no one better than him- she supposed. With a slight struggle, she managed to slide herself up beside the man. Her tight teal turtleneck clung to her in a soft fabric and straight skirt clung to her legs. Her heels kinda hung as she crossed her legs and beamed at him. Her curly brown bangs rested at the sides of her face and the rest was tugged into a wavy ponytail.
"Hello. I'm A-Nancy." She had to catch herself. "I'm going to dine with you, today. NO worries, I'll pay for myself!" Yep- perfectly normal human being.

Re: The Home [OPEN]
Seishin didn't really take note of the woman that accompanied him. Only when she spoke did he turn and face her. She was young. Too young for him. Sadly, the days of rocking and being a rebellious 22 year old was long gone. He had mellowed out. " If you wish to join me, then by all means, do so." Seishin was then given his single beer and a glass of water as the waitress smiled at the newcomer. "Hello! May I get you something to drink?" Seishin tapped the table with his fingers some as he looked across the table at his guest. Did she not know he was too old for her?
As Seishin took the beer, he nonchalantly ripped the cap off with his palm. He never needed a beer opener. He always knew how to open a beer. As Seishin took a sip of his beer, he waited for the waitress to finish taking her order, before giving his choice. "Ill just take your fish and chips please." As he gave a small smile, he turned to his newfound dinee as he gave a nod. "By all means, Nancy, get whatever you want." Seishin chuckled as he leaned back in his chair. He feigned disinterest, hoping to see if she would be lured by it. He didn't know why a girl chose to sit with him. Curse his young appearance. Fooling with his medallion, he cocked his head some, staring out the window."So, what brings you around here, kiddo? Don't you have school or something?" Seishin gave a lighthearted chuckle at his comment before taking another sip of his beer.

"So, what brings you around here, kiddo? Don't you have school or something?"
"Kiddo?" Ana was surprised. Most people didn't call her kiddo- mainly because she was a demon and demons were pretty much the farthest things from kids possible. Well- to most people that was the case. She was an amazing demon- for sure because if any demon was close to being a child- it would likely be her. Then again, it was quite possible that having her memory wiped when she died was probably part of that reason. She couldn't recall a thing. IN fact- how did a kid even act? It really didn't matter..
Her eyes rose to meet him. "Sir, I haven't been to school in YEARS." It was the honest truth for both of them. Ana was beyond twenty years of her human ritualist's body, though. She laughed at the idea of being in school. Her eyes beamed at the woman behind the clipboard. "I'll take a chicken sandwich and some ice cream- preferably a hot fudge Sunday, please~" Yes- ice cream was always needed. "And a- uhmm- sprite, please?" That's what humans drank- right? Nancy silently scolded that it would go to her hips- but Ana didn't care for now.

Re: The Home [OPEN]
Seishin only took notice only because of the girls comment." You haven't been to school in years? You look like a teenager.." Call him paranoid, but this lady was giving off a bad vibe. Shoving the thought to the back of his head, taking a sip from his beer. This girl sure took advantage of the paid meal he was offering. Money wasn't an issue with him, but nonetheless, he kept up civilities.
Taking his glass of water into his hand, he looked at the woman. "So Nancy, what do you do?" Seishin took a sip of the water, his eyes never leaving her. He was now perplexed by this woman's responses. Seishin never was one to go and make new friends anyways, so for now, she was just oddly friendly.
Seishin turned his head to the side, as he heard a small commotion in the back. Thinking it was nothing to worry about. Seishin turned his head back around as he looked back at the woman. He had a dull expression, as he laced his fingers together in thought, resting his elbows on the table. He didn't feel comfortable giving his name, so he would use his real name this time. " The name is Drake Redman. Why did you feel like joining me today?" Despite the harshness of the question, He was interested why a girl like herself wasn't in college during this time of day. She seemed like a bright individual, but maybe there was more to this person before him.

Re: The Home [OPEN]
So many questions! This man certainly was nosy! It wasn't like Ana really minded it was just- well... Ana couldn't really answer a lot of said questions. Still she could answer a few of them at least or so she hoped. What was his first question? She went to reply, but he introduced himself as Drake Redman, which made her laugh. It wasn't meant to be rude, but Redman and Ana normally had red hair. She couldn't mention that though, because that would make her look like a liar.
"Well to answer your questions. I am 28 years old (according to my ID)." Her eyes closed as she was finally served her delicious sugary beverage. "I didn't mean to owe too much. I can easily pay anything you don't want to."
What? Nancy asked with a shocked face. You're going to give a man MY money- which is not yours? That's inconsiderate.
-No inconsiderate is over ordering for yourself. Her head nodded in agreement to her own actions. Ana logic won again. "As for my job I work with the F-"
IDIOT! YOU CAN'T TELL HIM THAT. Nancy was as loud as she had ever been. It gave her a slight headache, but nothing she couldn't tolerate. "With the Fords. Yeah I help sell cars." Good recovery, Ana. Her lips curled with a pleasant smile. "What about you?"

Seishin looked at his guest with a raised brow. She seemed so unsure of herself, as if her story was a blur to herself. She insisted on paying for everything herself, to which he finished his beer and shook his head."There is no need to pay. I have you covered." as he set the empty bottle aside he stretched some. Normal weeks included 7 days of rigorous training, but he was on a trip, and had no desire to do such.
As he took a sip of water to get the taste of hops out of his mouth, he noticed their waitress out of the corner of his eye, bringing them their selections. As the fish and chips was sat before him, he thanked her, taking the cloth napkin and laying on his lap. "Ford, huh? I didn't know Fords sold well in the uk. What is your favorite ford?" Her choice of words made him switch into interrogation mode. He knew the rest of the world hated the United States. He had been there before, and he absolutely loved it. He even had his own collection of american cars, and actually preferred them over their European and Asian counterparts. Picking up his fork, he sheared off a piece of the flaky fish and escorted it to his mouth as she asked what he did for a living. As he chewed his food for a few seconds, he sat his fork down and sighed a little. His profession? Well, to say he was a leader of warriors dedicated to the sublimation of hell would sound ridiculous, but the people that knew about inferis's existence were increasing by the day. He would stretch the truth a little bit. He didn't necessarily lie about his name, it was just that he had discarded it long ago.
Looking up at her, he scratched his head some in thought. "I served with the SAS during the Gulf War, and since then I've been just another destitute veteran I suppose." He remembered how hot Kuwait was back then. The raging oil fires caused by Sadam took a long time to be extinguished. Resting his arms on the table, he took one of his fries, taking a bite out of it. "I travel a lot, and besides go to church, work on cars, and play music, I don't do much." He tapped his fingers some while in thought. He would wait to see what she had to say. She didn't seem too genuine..

Well there went that plan. "Okay I lied." She admitted. Her face fell into a sort of sad smile. "I work for the government." And then, came Ana's lack of knowledge of personal space. Her finger pressed to his lips and she had returned to her big smile. "You just can't tell anyone, okay?" He had succeeded in seeing through the ruse.
"To be honest I don't know a whole lot about cars, it's been years since I owned one, myself. However, I find myself to like Shelby Mustangs the best." Her shoulders slumped as she continued. "Besides. I don't actually live around here." You're visiting your uncle. "I'm visiting my uncle." Man if fit weren't for Nancy, it would be totally obvious that Ana was a demon. At least she wasn't killing anyone though.
AT LAST refreshments were there. Ana sipped her soda joyfully. What a delight to drink something that wasn't tainted with some demon's blood. It was sweet and pure- like this area she was in. It was days like these that Ana loved being human. Don't get too comfortable. Nancy warned, as she recalled the squirrel incident once more. It seemed that would never be left alone.

Re: The Home [OPEN]
Seishin blinked in a confused manner, her finger sealing his lips before he could speak. She worked for the government? There were over two hundred countries on this rock, each with different cultures and standings. His eyes resumed their bored outlook. "The government? Hm.." He would fall for the claim for now at least. He would keep his own thoughts to himself. It wasn't like himself to cause a scene in public view anyway.
Seishin picked up the knife provided for him as he rested its point on the table, his finger keeping the metal object propped up. His gaze averted, He sighed."Visiting your uncle, huh?" He turned his head a small bit to watch her happily sip down the soft drink. She was a happy one, that was most certain. She seemed almost fake, but maybe that was just her personality. Most of the time he was like a lifeless statue, especially around new people. He tended to his own business and kept people outside of work at arm's length. He didn't speak much, and liked to attribute that to sofiap anxiety. Maybe it was his line of work that gave him a habit of picking words carefully. He couldn't just run his mouth about demons, templars and hell. Either he would be "talked" to, or he would look like a lunatic. He didn't care anyway. His lips were easily kept shut.

Re: The Home [OPEN]
Well the man she had met seemed relatively uninterested in speaking to her. His eyes were focused on something else. Well this wasn't working very well. He seemed so disinterested. That's what humans felt- right? Ana gave a sad smile and nodded. When the food had come, she picked at it, before she sighed and gave her money to the waiter. "Here. I can tell you don't really want my company."
Ana was coming to the realization that a lot of people couldn't handle her. Humans were especially annoyed by her brand of enthusiasm. She smiled and winked at the man. "Thanks for the soda, sir!" Why did she call him sir? It felt too weird. She needed to go away. The man felt like a wolf and she felt like a sheep- it wasn't- normal. "Nice meeting you!" And with that- she left the cafe.
