LONDON
The great fish-and-chips cups-of-tea monarchy capital of the world. The UK! In all its glory, the city's infamous underground, interesting political structure, and chock-full of tourist attractions such as Big Ben and the London Eye.

IRKUTSK
Irkutsk is a major city in Russia with a population of over half a million and one of the largest cities in the area of Siberia. As one would imagine, it's bitterly cold, especially in wintery months, and though filled with tourist attractions, usually not advisable to travel to unless you're prepared for the temperature extremes.

JOHANNESBURG
Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa. In the modern day it's renowned for - in spite of its apparent cleanliness and status as one of the most prestigious cities in the entire continent - a considerably high crime ratio, though it's still a very nice city. Colloquially known as Jozi and Jo'burg amongst other less favourable nicknames.

ROME
Known natively as Roma and the capital of Italy, once the origin of the greatest ancient empire to ever brace the face of this earth, Rome is barely a shadow of what it once was, through ancient history and even on into the Renaissance, but it's truly a beautiful city all in all, much like London in that it's filled with various tourist attractions such as the Coliseum.

BARCELONA
One of the most active and energetic cities in all of Europe, thrumming with activity - be it tourist or otherwise - all year round, Barcelona is the second-largest city in Spain (after the capital, Madrid) and is located on the very coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

HONG KONG
Often recognised as one of the ultimately dirtiest cities and most densely populated areas of all time, arguably a business centre of the eastern world, Hong Kong is an island situated on China's south coast. Historically an ancient British colony, Hong Kong is now separate from China and often considered to be far more first-world than a large amount of the People's Republic itself.

WASHINGTON D.C.
The capital of the United States, separate from any individual U.S. state and located along the Potomac River's east coast, Washington is widely recognised as the diplomatic centre of the country's activities, with numerous historical monuments to be found here, and the head of America's government - Mr. President himself.

RIO DE JANEIRO
The second-largest city in Brazil, one of the most popular and active cities in all of South America, and the capital of the country up until 1960, Rio de Janeiro is famous primarily for a large statue of Jesus Christ overlooking the city on a high-altitude ridge, and very high crime rates around all but the most upper-class areas of the city.

HELSINKI
The capital of Finland, and on record one of the most pleasant cities to live in - amongst other places in Scandinavia. Spread across a number of bays and coasts and indeed a number of islands, transport across it may become slightly confusing to an outsider. Compared to Irkutsk, it's not quite as vicious in the winters, but still has reached record lows of down to -31C in the past couple of decades.

VATICAN CITY
A landlocked city-state consisting of a walled enclave inside the city of Rome. Separate to the actual country itself, the Vatican is widely considered to be the home and origin of Catholicism, and where the Pope himself resides... however, for the purposes of this story, something far darker indeed resides within this minute religious city-state...

ELSEWHERE
The world's a big damn place - and not all of it is encompassed in these ten cities, though if you're one of Deus Mortuus' core character types, aside from a civilian, you're bound to be spending a lot of time in the others. For anywhere in the real world you fancy traveling to that isn't listed here, post a thread in this forum - but please make sure to mark where it is either in the thread title, or bolded in the body of the first post and clear to see.
