ANGEL DESCRIPTION:
Rapheal’s true form radiates with divine light, causing mortals not be able to look at him directly for too long. His body is enclosed in golden armour made of an alloy unknown to man. It consists of several layers, growing thicker at his vital spots. His belly is topped with a shining, light blue metal. The armour spans to his wings, covering segments of them but still allowing swift flight, almost as it was weightless. Finally, a golden gauntlet also coated with light blue segments covers his right arm while his left arm is bare. The top half of his face is covered by a helmet made of the same materials, leaving only his mouth exposed. A pair of light blue wings is located at the top of it. He is usually never seen without the helmet, almost as it’s fused with him. His flesh is blue, but overall he has a human like appearance. He stands over 6 feet tall and has a wingspan almost twice that long.

MORTAL DESCRIPTION:
Raphael manifests himself in the human world as a slim man of average height with very long, almost waist-length, light-green hair, with long bangs framing his face, and the right one even covering the corresponding part of his face and eye; he also has a pair of thin strands jutting out backwards from the sides of his head, both taking on a lightning-like shape. His hair is gathered at the end and tied in a short ponytail. His eyes are greenish blue, with a distinctive mark below his left one, and prominent eyelashes.
For clothes he usually prefers robes but occasionally dresses sharply to reflect his authority, preferring the colours red or black in either case.

PERSONALITY:
How would I describe myself? Heh, I am a healer. I care for those broken souls who come to me, and I mend their spirit. I do my work as one of His, and I feel complete. However, I would be lying if I said that was all there is to me. I am an Archangel, a commander in the armies of Heaven. We wage our holy war against the forces of the abyss, and I take only the greatest pleasure of striking the daemon scourge down. It’s pathetic, to be honest, how these creatures have rebelled against Him only to be twisted by the sins their precious ‘free will’ exposed them to. Now they are little more than insects, roaches to be exterminated. But then… there are the humans… I just… do not understand. Humans are worthless. They have taken the words of our divine Father, and they have edited and twisted them to their own purposes. They have murdered, they have raped, they have pillaged, plundered, tortured, all in the name of Him. They have soiled His will; they have defecated on all that he has stood for. And yet... He still cares for them. He still considers these treacherous little pieces of waste to be his magnum opus. It… it is not my place to question His will… but out of all the wonders He has wrought, of all the marvels he has created… why is it that it is the humans that have earned His love when all they do is ignore this privilege?


HISTORY:
Age was never really something Raphael was bothered by. Time was meaningless. Every hours was the same as the previous one. Nothing but vague things would chance each time and everything seemed to be for granted by God’s side. That is until one day Lucifer and his brothers, who would later be known as the Archdemons, decided to attempt to overthrow God. Raphael was always loyal to God. Since the day God created him he has stayed by his side loyally. He was witness when God banished Lucifer from heaven. That image served as a sole reminder of his place. It was his drive for eons to obey God despite his own beliefs about humans; so he would be spared of such a fate.
Raphael always remembered that, from when he practiced his duties as a Malakhim to his own personal time. In a sense, he was determined to prove himself to God, hopping that he would perhaps see that some of his children truly loved him, but on top of that he longed to use his own power for heaven’s sake. He hopped that not only he could aid, but that he could also use his power to take on those who rejected God, committing perhaps the highest degree of an insult known.
Raphael was always drawn to healing magic. Restoration and rejuvenation of the injured was always something fascinating for him, but every time he would visit the great library to seek out book on healing something would click inside him. Why should healing magic be limited to just healing? He saw much more in it than others. More than the scholars who taught him. He could improve one’s structure with the magic used to reconstruct it. He could make someone stronger, or perhaps weaker by breaking down basic spells. The Malakhim was delighted by his findings. Day by day he worked hard, filling his hours with his studies until he eventually made a name of himself as a healer; a grand healer.
One day his fame reached God who wasted no time. He observed the angel closely until one day he finally decided that the Malakhim deserved more. His devotion and skill were almost unrivaled, almost a shame to waste on a simple, nameless angel. Finally, his efforts were recognized. From that day forth the Archangel known as Raphael was born, sworn to aid God and punish those who lost their light and dwell in hell along with the treacherous Lucifer. Indeed, be it through by his sword or by the aid provided from his healing and healers under his command, he would made hell suffer so that no one could ever come close to imagining that future exists after defying God.

SPECIALISED ANGEL :
Esrei angels made in Raphael’s image. The Esrei excel at healing and supporting their fellow angels in the time of need and are generally found in Ashland. Their main difference from regular angels is their larger wingspan and radiating light that emits from them. They are usually seen wearing white robes and often carry various staffs with them. Aside from serving as medics in heaven, they are also killed warriors that excel in healing and backing up troops in the battlefields, able to heal selectively in an area and reinforce resistances of those fighting, often turning the tide in battle.
