OVERVIEW
Originally formed in 1909 as the Secret Intelligence Service, or SIS, as an offshoot of the British Special Service Bureau, Military Intelligence, Section 6, or, for short, MI6, is the United Kingdom's world-renowned intelligence services. Rivalling the CIA, and serving as an intelligence counterpart to MI5, which serves as a slightly more public security unit, MI6 itself wasn't actually acknowledged to exist until up until 1994, and the intricacies of its employment protocol are still unknown to the general public.

One of the most mysterious existing intelligence agencies, MI6 is presumed to have large amounts of sleeper or undercover operatives in numerous illegal and/or political structures around the world, be they in developed countries, the likes of Russia, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and even America, or the third world, for instance large portions of Africa whom fight in numerous bloody civil wars and often breach the grounds of the Geneva Convention.

Similarly to the CIA, the directorship of MI6, an individual known only as "M", has been informed of events regarding Inferis, but in stark contrast to the agencies of the United States, MI6 has informed not only its director, but her secretary, and her double-0 agents (the elite intelligence agents of the UK) of the existence of said parallel universe, becoming something of a priority for their operations, alongside the overseas security of the country itself and its borders.

The agents of MI6 are typically classified into three types. Regular agents, who may be analysts or undercover field agents, agents under Q Branch, who work for research and development on new technology to assist said field operatives, and finally, the revered and renowned 00 Agents, who are eight of the only individuals in all of the United Kingdom allowed to terminate, without prejudice, at their discretion, regardless of jurisdiction, provided that it contributes to the overarching goals of their task.

EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING
All agents are trained extensively with handguns and firearms. Typically, regular undercover agents are given small, concealable compact weapons, such as the Walther P99, but may have other such gadgets one has seen in spy movies courtesy of Q Branch, who in themselves are typically unarmed. 00 Agents can request more or less any equipment they'd like, provided they have a good reason. Even the greatest spies in all the world require their gear, no?
