#084 - Razorback

Tier: Regular, but viciously strong

Abilities: To put it simply, the Razorback is fucking horrifying.

It has no real special abilities save for the fact that it is very, very, very fast. Its strength is not nearly as formidable as some would think, and though the tempered hide on its back is highly defensible and almost as resistant to projectiles as reinforced ceramics or kevlar, the skin at its front is highly vulnerable. It is not by any stretch of the imagination unkillable.

But for some reason it seems to be one of the most dominant predators in the Darkroot Domain.

Well, that's because, as its name would suggest, it's covered in fucking blades. Everything about this Demon is sharp. Teeth. Claws. Horns, ridged spines on its back, blades on the end of its tail, tapered spines at the end of a second pair of mantis-like arms, single talons that scrape against the ground in a horrific whine as its arthropod centipede legs strike the ground over and over and over and over... there's a reason it's called the Razorback.

As if this and its speed were not intimidating enough, it can also launch the spines on the lower end of its back by curling its tail upwards (typically hissing) and aiming at anyone that's pissing it off, ensuring that they will be shortly be turned into an impromptu shish kabob.

Do not fuck with a Razorback.

Miscellaneous Notes: - Twelve or thirteen feet long in total.
- Numerous spikes covering its body.
- Whilst fast, it is not stupid, nor particularly perceptive. Whilst its hearing is good, it does not often act on this in a relatively noisy environment, and it typically has to see a target to engage it.
- Though once it has you in its sights, you're absolutely fucked.
- Stops at nothing to kill anything that isn't bigger than it.
- Thankfully, though, not a lot of the Razorbacks exist (hence its being a Regular) and they are never found more than one per few square miles, only in the thickest of jungle territories, and never, ever work with others.
