Spiders have always frightened humanity. From the tales of Arachne cursed by Athena to the modern-day b-movie films depicting them hunting in the ice, they've haunted our imaginations. Yet if there's one thing the creatures of Inferis love to do, it's emulate our fear...our hatred of the things creeping in the dark.

In the snows of the Stygian Tundra, one such creature lurks. The Ice Spider, a large arachnid big enough to crush a man, is a powerful demonic creature that uses the snow for cover and lays traps in the ice. Surprisingly it's one of the smaller creatures that can be found in the Stygian Tundra, as most of the demons there have evolved to become physically like their overlord, Moloch. Ice Spiders are among the more common of creeping demons in the Tundra, hiding out in shadowy places and making icy cobwebs high in Moloch's palace.

Abilities: Ice Spiders are giant versions of their mortal kin. They are smart, they make webs, and they trap unsuspecting victims. They are more than fine at attacking in groups or relying on Tarantula-like tactics and attacking straight on the ground rather than build a stationary trap. Their venom causes the body to become more susceptible to cold; drastically reducing the enzymes needed to be used on making poison and saving them for dissolving the body for consumption of flesh and soul energy.
