#098 - Fallen Cultist of Moloch
FALLEN CULTIST OF MOLOCH
Name: Fallen Cultist of Moloch
Aliases: Ice Cultist, Berserks, Chosen of Moloch, the Rageful, the Ice Cream Lords
Sphere: Stygian Tundra
Tier: Regular
Picture:
- Spoiler:
Fallen Cultists exist everywhere throughout Inferis. Essentially those worshippers who had fallen under the sway of the great Archdemons, they particularly worshipped them as primitive gods. While the vast majority of them have become a part of the endless cycle of soul energy that moves about throughout Inferis, some of them are lucky enough (or unlucky enough) to start out in the cycle as their human form, forever worshipping their dark lord and master as a vague parody of their former lives.
Fallen Cultists of Moloch are pretty much human replicas of their master in every way except size. Even then, they are much, much bigger than other Fallen Cultists. Worshipping the Archdemon of Rage has that effect on people. They kill. They devour. They lay waste to anything around them in murderous, drunken rage. Then they sit around and enjoy some time within their icy wasteland. Of course, life is by no means easy for these cultists, for they happen to live in one of the most hostile realms of Inferis. Ice coats the landscape. Snow constantly falls from the sky. It is always bitter cold. And they have to live every day for the rest of their miserable existence through it all.
Kind of makes you mad, doesn't it?
Abilities: Fallen Cultist are essentially human souls in Inferis, so they appear very similar to their original selves back on Earth. In the case of Fallen Cultists of Moloch, most of these have taken on the appearance of Viking Berserkers, wearing the bear minimum in clothing likely due to living a crazed, rage-frenzy lifestyle out in the wilderness of the Stygian Tundra. They wield axes, clubs, maces, blades; anything that comes in handy, really. Some of them can even alter the ice around them to make the air seem colder to opponents, though that's not been confirmed. All Fallen Cultists of Moloch take longer to kill due to their rage induced fury, and they can attack and deal out damage far longer and more potently than the average Cultist.
Miscellaneous Notes: - They adore Moloch, even if he goes on a sprinkle binge
- They have a predator's sense of gluttony; they devour and binge, but never gain weight
- That last bit might be because they hardly get meals
- It's rumored Erik the Red is among the ranks
- It's also rumored he thought he was signing up for Valhalla
- I'm half tempted to BS the rest of the notes, but I fear it'll take too long... maybe next entry
