PERSONAL DETAILS

DESCRIPTION:
Standing at a clean 6'0" and weighing in at about 162 pounds without her armor, her frame is toned but lithe, with decent hips and slightly wider shoulders. With a rectangular face, she has a strong jaw with a longer face and a prominent forehead, especially as she tends to wear her dark brown hair slicked back. Her skin is a slightly pale tan color, with a very slight natural rosiness at her cheeks, joint, the palm of her hands and her feet. Her eyes are a dark green, and her lips are naturally pale, but she tends to wear dark red-brown lipstick whenever she can.

While in Inferis, she constantly wears her armor, stocked with ammunition and typically some dried provisions in little baggies. When in the material plane, she keeps her clothes nondescript and casual, mainly jeans, low top shoes, a v-neck and some sort of jacket. Educated and trained to become a member of a SWAT unit, she used this education to drop from the SWAT section of the LAPD to easily go back to being a simple city cop. Her job serves her well as her 'undercover' identity, and gives her a nice bit of extra money. She can be seen in her uniform more often than out of it.

PERSONALITY:
Disciplined and regimented, Hilen's various levels of training have left her very no-nonsense about her work, finding little humorous nor entertaining when she is handling Templar business. This tends to create friction with those who use humor to lighten dire situations, as her ability to respect people who act like that drops sharply, even if they happen to be a commanding officer. This does not mean she won't follow orders. Guidelines are guidelines, and orders given by a superior are meant to be followed. Even if they are somewhat frivolous, they have done something worthy of making them able to handle a command.

Her passion for her work often earns her the title of 'hard-ass' among her peers, but she is much less impersonal when she is off the job and able to relax. She still by no means could be called 'calm', a workaholic nature making it hard for her to sit down for a few minutes and do nothing, she does become more openly talkative, and willing to at least tolerate those with a sense of humor. Even bad humor, like puns. She's as efficient in her personal life as she is in her work life, her apartment typically kept in a spotless state. It's almost eerie, really, making the home look more like a display than something to be lived in half the time.

On an intimate level, one will find that she has a surprisingly romantic heart, despite he very professionalism she prides herself on in day to day activities. Even workaholics need to relax, and she can be typically found doing so by reading a good book and drinking coffee, even at night. It doesn't seem to make her high strung, surprisingly enough. More, the smell and taste relax her, and she'd comment that it reminds of the her heritage, and the lifestyle her grandparents had.

HISTORY:
Hilen's childhood was modest, a typical middle-class home, her parents still together and while not 'in love', they remained loyal and treated each other an their daughter well. An only child, she was somewhat spoiled as a child, which led to rebellious teenage years. With a religious family, the rebellion did not go over well, and it was resolutely taken out of her as her parents forced her to start attending a military school. The school certainly did its job, turning her from a rebellious teen with dyed hair into a responsible young woman, taking her studies more seriously. It translated well when she began to attend college, her grades slightly above average. She once more properly obeyed her parents, and was rigorous in both personal and religious duties.

Still, this was only on the surface. The stress placed upon her caused her to secretly turn to drugs, starting to smoke frequently. This stuck with her for a long time, and the yellowing of her teeth would only go away when she was taken in by the Templars and their excellent dental plan. But this is something for the future. After graduating college with a degree in criminal justice, she joined the LAPD o a recommendation from one of her classmates, who she remained goods friends with even after joining. While she started off as a simple officer, her previous military training assisted her as she scaled up the ranks, eventually being taken into the Counter Terrorism and Special Operations Bureau. This is where her love of intrigue and espionage started. here, she gained more information about the workings of the United States than she ever thought possible.

At some point, she managed to stop smoking. She simply didn't have enough to time to think about it between training and sleep. The training was difficult, but rewarding. She gained skills in everything from hand-to-hand combat to the use of a garrote to stealthily take down an enemy. She was often put on counter terrorism missions in small squads, breaking into meetings of various Al-Qaeda splinter groups, and monitoring activity on various flights. It was only a matter of time before she went from the Major Crimes Division to the Metropolitan Division, becoming a member of the illustrious D platoon, the LAPD's SWAT.

She would undergo rigorous selection and training, having to pass stringent tests on physical agility, and a variety of written, oral, and psychological testing to ensure that she was mentally and physically fit enough for tactical operations. Her previous military training also helped her here, as the discipline she learned then made her desire daily physical training, even if it was just a simple circuit of jogging, biking, push-ups and the like. This only made her more physically adept, giving her a lean, muscled physique that made the physical aspects of her training easy.

Once she had been selected, she undertook numerous specialist courses to become fully qualified SWAT operator, struggling at some points to pass the mental testing. The stress made her seem shaky at times, but she did eventually learn to keep her composure under rapid-fire interrogations this way. She was trained in marksmanship for the development of accurate shooting skills, as well as training in explosives, sniper-training, defensive tactics, first-aid, negotiation, handling K9 units, rappelling and roping techniques and the use of specialized weapons and equipment. She was given instructions in the handling and use of special ammunition such as bean bags, flash bang grenades, tasers, and the use of crowd control methods, and special non-lethal munitions. Of primary importance was her close-quarters defensive tactics training, as she knew this would be key to becoming a SWAT officer.

At the age of twenty-eight, she became a full-fledged member of the LAPD's SWAT team. And when she was twenty-nine, she was asked to join the Templars after being cherrypicked from the ranks. She jumped at the chance to become a part of the inner-workings of not just the United States, but the whole world. Put through the rigorous Templar training, she felt right at home in the disciplined group, and did not falter when she was sent on her first mission through a tear to take on demons. It was much like a SWAT firefight, only against creatures instead of people.

She currently lives in Washington, D.C.

Only a few minor things. Her nationality would be American, not Hispanic, which would be considered her race. Also, could you specify agility and physical strength? An example or a lifting max would work finely. As for agility, how fast can she move? Otherwise, this is excellent.
