OVERVIEW
”Long and hard out of Hell is the way that leads up into the light.”

Veterans of heaven itself, the Angelic Host are the descended forces from Heaven that have been emplaced upon Lucifer’s territory as a threatening movement. Their intention and directive is simple and one: destroy the Overlord of Inferis. His regime appears to be deeply upsetting God himself; and thus it has been decreed in his divine wonder that the Archdemons and their leader are to be punished and thus destroyed in pre-emption of his later plans.

Lead by the Seven Archangels and moving into Inferis in March after an impromptu appearance from Michael and Akrasiel at Lucifer’s home, they occupy the skies in gigantic town-sized Skyhavens, strongholds suspended in the air above Inferis, each under the directive of these seven commanders. All Angels found within Inferis, and, by extension, all Angels played on Deus Mortuus, are loyal to the host and must register under a specific wing of it.

Once the autocratic Hell Princes were the only real large political structure of any note to be found in Inferis: but the Angelic Host have momentarily descended, bringing with them large forces to rival those of Lucifer and his Archdemons. They are all elite, all organised, all have access to abilities and weapons of their own, and are here to eliminate the Hell Princes with prejudice and ultimately teach Lucifer a lesson.

Their overlord is Michael himself, the leader of the six Archangels proper, and each has their own thematic sphere of dominion, an intangible yet positive attribute which their character is based upon. Whilst the Demons cannot, the Angels may walk freely upon Earth; though they are bound to their God and by extension to act reasonably within morals. They additionally typically possess wings.

The Emissary is the leader of the Angelic Host, but he is an Archangel; yet he holds authority over the other six, all of whom possess equally devastating abilities. Each of these seven Archangels controls a wing of the Archangels proper – and all Angels fall under the ultimate command of one of these Seven, stationed at their Skyhaven. The seven Skyhavens are each positioned over a different sphere of Inferis as follows;

• Twilight Court (Saraqael) – Regal Necropolis

EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING
Each Angel possesses their inherent Gears, which progressively become stronger and more varied as the Angel levels up; Archangels possess a more diverse and powerful array of skills as is to be expected. However, unlike all Demons, Angels all have access to additional holy weaponry, of their own choosing.
