FORLORN ASHLAND

ASHLAND OUTPOST

The bombed-out ruin of a skyscraper found on a slant and boarded up, this dilapidated ruin serves as an improvised defensible position. Tricked out with numerous guns and supplies, the office skyscraper and all of the old apparatus serves as perfectly good barricade material. Also filled with waterbaths - all that raining ash can get on people's nerves. This can be treated as a safe-zone and home-base for Templars and Demon Hunters within this region of Inferis - demons cannot enter this forum unless explicitly permitted.

OBSIDIAN NEXUS

A titanic underground volcanic cavern from where Beelzebub rules, the Obsidian Nexus is filled with streams of ever-flowing magma and magically-sustained thin, criss-crossing pathways of volcanic obsidian, and the Forlorn Ashland's Bastion. Thin and usually translucent, the pathways here are usually prone to snapping beneath one's feet, so careful footing is advised when you're standing hundreds of feet above pools of bubbling magma. Reaching - through any of the entrances on the exterior of the volcano, the centrepiece of the Ashlands - the very centre finds a stone heart where Beelzebub resides, defended by an army of lava, magma, and flame-based demons.

ASTRAL PAVILION

An immaculate golden palace, the Astral Pavilion is a tall and beautiful construct floating high above the grim, apocalyptic flatplains of the scorched Ashlands. Atop a lush and thriving garden which would seem impossible in the desecrated soil below, the Pavilion serves first as a place of peace, a place of inner cohesion, a place of zen, and an additional garrison for the calmer of Angelic force: but it is also home to the Archangel Raphael.
