DARKROOT OUTPOST

A group of settlements crafted from bark and wood high up in the canopies of the Darkroot jungle surrounding the remains of Rio. Tightropes and thin wooden pathways wind through a labyrinthine array of trees from treehouse to treehouse, each defensible from above, especially for long-range specialists. Thick in the heart of the jungle, demon scouts scurry below as the human parties congregate in this treetop commune in the centre of the brush. This can be treated as a safe-zone and home-base for Templars and Demon Hunters within this region of Inferis - demons cannot enter this forum unless explicitly permitted.

DESECRATED FAVELA

The Desecrated Favela is the Bastion for the Darkroot Domain, an old, abandoned, Brazilian slumland amalgamated into one grand kingdom on a slope. The regency leads up to a great palace of corrugated iron and vines to where there is a great, huge, age-old wizened black tree, hollowed out and serving as the Archdemon Ba'al's point of power. The demon army belonging to Ba'al specifically specialise in the utility of long-range projectile weaponry and serve as sensory-aware scouting parties.
