THE DEVIL SPIRE

1ST FLOOR

The 1st Floor contains a pair of nattering eight-armed arachnid-based demon receptionists, Trix and Trax, who tend to make all of Lucifer's guests' existences a living hell. It's the reception for his tower, leading out into four districts of the Spirelands.

89TH FLOOR

The eighty-ninth floor of the Devil Spire, more commonly known as "The Floor of Gluttony", presents the entrant with a challenge based on gluttony: a sin of excess and bodily desire.

101ST FLOOR

The one hundred and first floor of the Devil Spire, more commonly known as "The Floor of Sloth", presents the entrant with a challenge based on sloth: a sin of laziness and acedia/apathy.

176TH FLOOR

The one hundred and seventy sixth floor is known as Limbo, serving as a plane for most of Lucifer's general elite, a rest-stop for some of the more powerful demons throughout the kingdom, and a general barrier when it comes to surpassing one through physical combat.

219TH FLOOR

The two-hundred and nineteenth floor of the Devil Spire, more commonly known as "The Floor of Lust", presents the entrant with a challenge based on lust: a sin of carnal pleasure and excessive lecherous desires.

283RD FLOOR

The two-hundred and eighty-third floor of the Devil Spire, more commonly known as "The Floor of Envy", presents the entrant with a challenge based on envy: a sin of jealousy and general covetous discontent.

334TH FLOOR

The three-hundred and thirty-fourth floor of the Devil Spire contains the City of Dis, and is one of the widest planes of the entire tower, seemingly far too big for the size of the interior. Contained within the Spire on the 334th floor is a cityscape of eternal black pain and torment of the lesser, and those who would fall prey to such human desires, and a manipulation of these souls. In truth? The City of Dis works as Inferis' greatest refinery for the hellish soul energy the dimension runs on, crushing and compacting the lesser souls of everymen and turning them into energy that flows freely throughout the world - invisible, and intangible, usually, but there all the same.

365TH FLOOR

The three-hundred and sixty-fifth floor of the Devil Spire, more commonly known as "The Floor of Greed", presents the entrant with a challenge based on greed: a sin of excess and rapacious desire for material possessions.

476TH FLOOR

The four-hundred and seventy-sixth floor of the Devil Spire, more commonly known as "The Floor of Wrath", presents the entrant with a challenge based on wrath: a sin of hatred, anger, and violence.

521ST FLOOR

The five-hundred and twenty-first floor is home to the Malebolge, a great pit of flame and discontent, miles wide, where the soul energy, now refined, is channeled to, and here, evaporated into a gaseous vapour, where it pours out of slits in the walls.

600TH FLOOR

The six-hundredth floor of the Devil Spire, more commonly known as "The Floor of Pride", presents the entrant with a challenge based on pride: a sin of hubris and excessive love for oneself.

666TH FLOOR

The six hundred and sixty-sixth floor serves as Lucifer's modifiable battleground, throne room, personal armoury, living quarters, home, and amongst many other things, his sanctum. Defensible from all sort of wights and geists he might conjure, above all else, it holds a grandiose balcony from which he can call - and in all of Inferis' eternity, has ever done so four times - out to EVERY life-form in all of the dimension, his voice catalysed by the mythical effects of the tower's refining properties. Rain or shine, this is where Lucifer can be found if a showdown against him is imminent.
