[SPIRE RULES]
D E V I L S P I R E
The Devil Spire is not your average demonic stronghold; and for this reason, roleplaying in it, particularly with the endgame of confronting Lucifer, holds a certain amount of reality-altering rules which need to be seen to prior to any sort of IC posts.
1] A recommendation. You may tackle the Devil Spire, or attempt to, at any level; however, the staff highly urge you to do so only at Level 3 or higher, with an team size proportional to individuals' power - the lower the group, the stronger we advise every individual is.
2] The elevator will never take humans straight to Lucifer. Any humans who step into the elevators with a goal of confronting Lucifer must, unless given express permission, undergo the following:
- At first roleplay with Trix and Trax on the ground floor, the Spire's receptionists who appreciate riddles and combat.
- After the mandatory first floor, a choice (staff-based) of either floor 176 (Limbo), 334 (City of Dis) or 521 (Malebolge).
- After the staff choice, a minimum of one player-chosen floors pertaining to vices - these are; 89 (Gluttony), 101 (Sloth), 219 (Lust), 283 (Envy), 365 (Greed), 476 (Wrath), 600 (Pride). We recommend you choose one pertaining to your character and relevant; staff will decide on a "challenge" dependent upon both your character and the floor - for the Spire itself is a responsive, living object, and the elevator system is not excepted from this.
- After these minimum of three - though we advise, if you wish for the full experience, you tarry a little longer - you may approach floor 666, Lucifer's own throne room from where he leads all of Inferis.
3] The Spire is not death-enabled unless a player within displays notions of inherent hostility. Doing so will trigger battles during the whole ascent which will be very difficult, concerning large forces of high-tier Demons; and beware that stealth will only get one so far in the Devil Spire. Once battle has begun, beware that the Spire IS death-enabled.
4] The challenges will get progressively more difficult. And facing Lucifer will be no walk in the park either.
5] Should you manage to successfully ascend beyond floor 666, be it through a peaceful resolution to combat or otherwise, you will be granted access once, and only once to floor 667 - the contents of which are DATA REDACTED.
