DESCRIPTION:
Jurou is a tall and muscular Japanese man, with handsome looks that are hard to match. His skin is rather pale and white due to lack of sunlight exposure. He keeps himself looking quite clean and proper at times. He is thin and rather lanky with long black hair that traces down with a few strands that extend down past his shoulder blades and around to the top-middle of his back. Most of the time, he appears in semi-formal clothes. Often times, he will wear a plain white dress shirt accompanied by black dress pants. He also wear a thin, brown leather belt around his waist. In Inferis, his outfit appears as a black longcoat with leather pants and boots to match, accents of white run along the seems. The buttons on the coat are made of pure silver, due to the metal's property for warding off several kinds of demons.

PERSONALITY:
Jurou's personality leaves him, for the most part, level headed. He is not headstrong, does not have a huge ego, and likes to think things through before engaging a fight. His calm demeanor tends to have a soothing effect on those around him. When it comes to interaction with others, such as humans and fellow Demon Hunters, he almost always puts forth an example of good manners and proper etiquette. He also has a strong sense of loyalty to his family members and occasional accomplices.

Jurou views himself as a lone operative. He does not accept help unless he knows the person is capable of handling themselves. After all, he wouldn't want anyone to die on his account. Jurou can sometimes come off as abrasive on people he doesn't know well, mostly due to his non-social tendencies. He doesn't enjoy it when people stick their noses into his private affairs, and will often push them away if they don't have something of use to offer him. However, Jurou is not without a sense of manners and will try to be as polite as possible to people.

Jurou also has strong convictions regarding the preservation of human life. He believes that every person's life has value and should not be thrown away for nothing. Jurou will almost always intervene into a situation when lifes are at risk. His calm attitude makes it easy for him to quickly assess and diffuse situations. All in all, Jurou is a respectable man with a agenda of his own and a sense of good virtues.


HISTORY:
Jurou was born into the respectable Koizumi clan of Demon Hunters in Osaka, Japan. Ever since he was a child, Jurou was thought of and studied demons and their existence. When Jurou was a young boy around the age of Ten, his father's cousin, the leader of the Koizumi clan was killed. This came to pass and Jurou's father became the new clan leader
However, at the same time the former clan leader was killed. Jurou's arranged fiance, Yuuko, whom he did not know well and hadn't taken much of an interest in, was kidnapped. An investigation into this crime proved the culprit to be a Templar. However, they never received any note of ransom or word of her being found, so the search was abandoned. Jurou wasn't affected greatly by this, he knew that the world was an unforgiving place and such things were to be expected to happen.

As a teen, Jurou's father took on the responsibility of personally training him in the ways of Demon Hunting. Jurou became proficient in two forms of Martial Arts, Kendo and Shotokan. Jurou was seen by many ordinary people outside the clan as a fine young boy, who would never do anything unexpected or out of the ordinary. In these young years, Jurou never really had any friends and spent the majority of his time inside the clan dojo training, thus giving way to his pale skin tone.

Jurou's first encounter with an Inferis Tear came when he was Fifteen. He was accompanying his father on a business trip in London, Jurou had heard his father talk about the feeling of entering a tear, but had never experienced it himself. He felt drawn backwards, he was almost to the point of losing his balance and falling backwards when he entered Inferis. Once there, a demon noticed his presence and attempted to kill the young teen. Jurou fled from the demon, it was not until the demon had left a small wound on Jurou's back that his father stepped into Inferis. Jurou's father slayed the demon and pulled Jurou back to the land of the humans.

Nowadays, Jurou is a traveler. He searches the world in search of the different tears. He is training to become proficient as a Demon Hunter so that when the time comes, he can take his father's place as leader of the Koizumi Clan. Normally, young men his age would be interested in experimenting and fooling around with women. While a bride would be nice, he is aware of how difficult it is to get his family to approve of outsiders. And some random non-hunter woman wouldn't be able to understand him, and the life he leads. So, Jurou typically abstains romantic and sexual encounters.
