Demons... she knew they were there. They knew she was here. The only question that remained yet, was to know... when would they attack? How would they attack and in what number? The weapons she´d use were already determined, there was little need to think about which ones she´d use. She had been trained to know when to use what. Not to mention... hunts rarely ever differed from each other. Strategies worked, usually. If they didn´t it was her purpose to make it work. Because demons wouldn´t take care of humans as templars would. Naturally, it was the weapons duty to destroy said demons. It was perfectly normal. Now... to await the approaching duty.
Keeping her artificial body tensed up, Devotion slightly bent her knees, using her weird joints to keep her upper body in a position that would allow her to freely swing or shoot at an approaching enemy, while she slightly turned her head left and right, in order to get a scan of her surroundings. She was ready for an attack... however before she´d actively shoot or charge at her target, she´d analyze it´s movements, including the pattern of it´s feet hitting the ground, if so... as well as the pattern of movement, in terms of the route they´d take in order to approach her.
This was an almost open field, aside from lower and higher rock formations then and there... it would allow for proper manouverability at the very least. However that also applied to her opponent. Using her augment was advisable, yet it would also depend on the immedaite threat she´d encounter. The quicker targets were taken care of, the better. Hesitation was never a virtue. Not to creatures like her at least. Killing was hindered by hesitance, hesitance meant uncertainty. And uncertainty was a virtue that only humans were allowed to have.
No humanity for her. Not yet. First she´d have to fullfil her purpose. As everything had to. Things without purpose were things without meaning. Demons had no purpose, that´s why the order killed them. At least that was her theory on the matter. In the end it was none of her business. As long as she functioned, everything was set in stone. Kill, return. Kill again. The cycle of an armaments. Functionality was afterall the only thing she could and would ever be able to provide.

The cyborg-like girl would hear few noises for several moments as she waited for prey to approach. However, such waiting soon came to fruition. And as it did such, there was a small tip-off to the arrival of the hungry mob; a rather loud BEEP BEEP noise, followed my the smash of a bottle. Approaching her from all sides came a large of Smiling Men. The clown-like demons were all of varied shapes and sizes, and seemed to be lead by a particularly tall and muscular clown, with a curly mustache and razor sharp teeth; he appeared to have been a strongman in another life. The group stood about thirty-strong, which was surely enough to over-power many opponents, although perhaps they had underestimated the Templar's greatest weapon.
"WELCOME, WELCOME, COME ONE, COME ALL, COME TO THE CARNIVAL OF CARNAGE. YOU THERE, WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR FACE PAINTED?" The large demon spoke with a bright and boisterously loud vaudevillian voice, that voice so classically known as the carnival conman's tone of voice, though much deeper, and bearing a hint of a Russian accent. The demon hefted a large sledgehammer, slapping it against the palm of one hand. "I'M SURE YOU WANT YOUR FACE PAINTED! WITH WHAT, WHAT PAINT, YOU SAY, I'M SURE. WELL, LET'S EXPLAIN IT THIS WAY. KNOCK KNOCK.
WHO'S THERE?
YOUR BLOOD ON THE PAVEMENT, AAAAAAAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!! IT'S FUNNY, NO?" Completely ignoring whether or not she actually responded to that, the Smiling Man swung his hammer forward as ten of the demons charged Devotion, all bearing knives of various sorts. Meanwhile, however, as he began to test his luck against this foe, who would soon become a snack for him, he didn't hear the sound of stirring in the distance. No matter.

Re: [NPC]-Apathetic devotion [Devotion]
Targets aquired. 31 individual targets, large clown identified as secondary threat. Clowns are the primary threat. Very well. Instead of replying Devotion simply took a look around by twisting her head all over quickly in order to establish where her targets had positioned themselves, she then simply lifted the Banshee, aiming for said clowns as they´d approach her. Firing three shots in quick succession, she´d aim for their torso, utilizing the large targeting area of her weapon in order to blow off any clowns torsi+heads she´d hit.
As soon as the clowns would have come closer, she´d dodge the first incoming attack by shifting her upper body to either side, depending on the angle of the attack, countering by firing a needle from her right hands handpalm right into the attackers face, from about 50-20cm distance. However in case the clown were to attack her lower body, she´d instead parry said attack, by swinging the banshee against it, immediately countering with a slash from "the Twins", aiming for the attacking clowns throat. Utilizing her ball-joints she´d use the momentum of this attack in order to spin her upper body by 360°, catching herself with the tip of "the twins" in order to propell herself over the clowns heads, using the centripetal force of her rotation. Devotion would propell her lower body into the air this way, facing the clowns below her, as she´d aim the Banshee at them, a single shot in a diagonal angle so it´d hit a couple of clowns at once, in case of a successful hit. In case she´d be attacked in mid-air she´d parry an attack with the twins, while twisting her right thighs-joint so that she´d be able to kick the clowns face in from above, without having to alter her own stance in mid-air.
Using the hard knock-back of her weapon she´d propell herself further into the air with said shot, firing another to blast herself towards either the wall or the ceiling, using her claws and the ability to twist her joints into the weirdest positions, in order to stick to the wall or the ceiling, like a spider. If necessary she´d use the twins for additional grip, by stabbing and hooking it into the wall. She´d then proceed to fire repeatedly at the clowns torsi from her locked position, utilizing the Banshee, firing at larger bulks of said clowns in order to improve her hitting success chances. Devotion would then activate her augment, in order to jump off the wall or the ceiling with trippled force and speed, in order to dart towards the clowns, firing a single shot with the Banshee a three meters before she´d collide with the clowns, aiming for their upper torsi again, in order to catch her own speed with the recoil of the weapon, she´d then perform a summersault using the force of the recoil, in order to land on her feet, immediately attempting to shift her upper body backwards in order to evade incoming attacks.
Using the momentum from this dodging motion, she´d pull her legs up, while pushing herself off the ground with both hands (btw. the tip of the banshee and one hand), turning her body in mid-air in order to step on either one or two clowns shoulders. In case it´d be two she´d shoot a single needle into one clowns head, from her handpalm, in order to cause it´s head to explode, while firing in a diagonal angle at the other clowns head, to blow half it´s head off without hitting her own leg/foot. She´d then jump off these dead clowns shoulders in case of success, before catching herself with her right hand, swinging her body as closely to the ground as possible, in order to dash forward with blinding speed, utilitzing her augment while sticking very close to the ground, using her weird joints to keep her body in a balanced stance, in order to cut through several clouns ankles, using the twins in horizontal slashes.
In case of success, she´d now fire one needle into each of these clowns head, to make them pop like baloons, before facing her remaining opponents again, being ready for attacks which she´d dodge by sidestepping, utilizing her augment for an accelerated dodging motion. As a counter attack, she´d execute a horizontal slash, aiming for the attackers throat, in order to decapitate him, spontaniously extended "the twins" to their full size, in case a second attacker would be right behind or beside the first one. Devotion would then jump kick the ground in order propell herself towards the closest wall, sticking to it like a spider again, in order to get into a proper lookout position to estimate the battle-results.

Re: [NPC]-Apathetic devotion [Devotion]
The strongman could only watch as this mecha-freak (presumed demon by the Smiling Man himself) slaughtered a good amount of his trope with excellent precision, combat skills, and sheer weaponry. Okay, so perhaps sending them in blindly wasn't a good idea, as a good amount were ended in the onslaught thanks to a lack of foresight by the obviously deranged leader. Sometimes crazy wasn't all that it was cracked up to be, and at the end of the smoke, almost a dozen of the circus men were already deflated. As you see, it didn't really take much to screw them up per say, being made of a balloon like nature. Regardless, he'd have to be more careful from now on.
PSsssSssSsst. PSssSsSsSsssst.
Two needles came flying from the mechanical demon, popping two henchmen right next to the leader himself, causing him to frantically look side from side. Oh man, he sure was expending a lot of these guys, the Ringleader certainly would not be happy with him regardless of the outcome of this battle. And displeasing her, well, that was usually not in the best of one's interests. Knowing that this was his final day more than likely regardless of the outcome of battle, the brute slammed his hammer into the ground and called off his minions, if only for a few minutes. "Hohoho, so tell me robo-witch, what class of demon do they hail you as?" he lifted up his sledge once more, as if preparing for assault, "I'd like to know the name of my enemy before I smash her to bits, no." Second thoughts crossed his mind, maybe if he smashed this thing up and brought it back, the Ringleader wouldn't be so angry with him!
With a wide hand gesture, the clowns lined up around him and pulled minature firearms from seemingly nowhere. They were hilarious in nature, mini assault rifles and missile launchers, there was just no way they could do any real damage. That was, until, one of the clowns released an RPG into the lower part of the building Devotion was stationed at, purposely missing, but showing that the weapon packed just as much power as a normal sized one. "Ogon! Ogon!" A mad laughter left the foreign man's mouth as he spoke Russian, commanding his minions to fire, which they did seamlessly. Bullets and missiles would be sent in the robot's general direction, but the clowns weren't the best shots, making the whole ordeal absolutely chaotic. The stongman's eyes burned with a red fire, as this was taking him back to his time alive.
A member of one of the few Soviet based circuses, Vladislav was a renowned strongman and bear fighter, unmatched in hand to hand combat, and that was when he was still alive. Many came to see the circus, and simply just for him, as he was truly a man to behold. Standing at a hefty six foot seven, the man has been reduced to a little less than what he was, now forced to wear ridiculous clown make-up, something that irked him deeply but who was to stand against Her. Ah if only he stood with his brothers in the Red Army, than maybe he would've became a demon to truly be feared, something that would strike fear into hearts by the mere mention of his name. But no, the circus it was, and this is where it got him. Nameless.
Scorn filled the Russian's head. He suddenly realized just how much he hated clowns, and that smile was frowning if it possibly could due to the nature of it's dental plan, and was disgusted to be amongst them. Today, maybe today would be that day, the day he was redeemed as a true Soviet warrior. The strongman folded his arms and stepped behind his minions, quite literally using them as a shield. The bozos didn't notice of course, still firing away at the target no matter where she moved, desperately trying to get a couple hits in.
