Abilities: The Abyssals are a cadre of rare Demons - rather odd-looking, as one can see - that make the shadowy depths of the Spirelands their home. The Abyssals themselves are horrifying creatures on appearance that appear intangible and consistently moving, with numerous appendages including twin demon "arms" composed of what appears to be simply dark energy.

They serve as Lucifer's envoys. Perfect for all sorts of stealth missions and just generally as fun, with screeching tones of voice, they're intelligent, and serve as his handymen for whenever a Praetorian's just a bit too stupid. What the Reapers have in the department of martial defense, the Abyssals carry by way of sheer intelligence. Lucifer crafted these from the sewn-together souls of tacticians and publicists, and they act as horrifying little messengers from the desk of the Devil himself.

Though this does not mean that their combat capabilities should be ignored. Whilst their function - as they're relatively small - does not lie in the field of battle, they can utilise a rallying screech to call all nearby affiliated Demons to their command and rescue. When encountered alone, the Abyssals can actually leap from shadow to shadow invisible, provided they remain away from the light, and pounce from patches of darkness onto unwitting assailants, dragging them away where they tear into them with claws and fangs alike.

Lucifer just uses them, really, when he can't be bothered to travel.

Miscellaneous Notes: - One-to-one battle prowess? Useless. Ambushes, tactics, larger battles: the Abyssals are unrivaled.
