OVERVIEW:
- Not dissimilar from a certain Reverend of the site, Dante's Amalgam also, on a scientific level, focuses on bodily secretions, once more sweat. However, unlike Reverend Smith, whose Augment allows him to sweat holy water, the Brazilian instead can, on will, begin to secrete a highly corrosive acid from sweat pores on his body. This acid is a chemical secretion the likes of which not seen to occur naturally on this earth, around the toxicity and with higher corrosive intensity of hydrofluoric acid. Within a few moments, it can melt through thin layers of flesh or soft metal of up to six inches thick, and three inches of sturdier metal, in one application.

Dante tends to use the Serpent's Touch Amalgam, with the assistance of Kurdai, sparingly for whatever he may need; it has conventional uses as well as being combat-geared. He can usually gear where he wants the acid to secrete from, and in small amounts, it tends to manifest at the tips of his fingers, pressure against them causing secretion to increase in speed rapidly, meaning Dante has only to press against a surface and "wipe" in a direction to trigger the corroding. Similarly, if he curls up his fist, he can cause his punches to bear corrosive aftereffects, which is helpful.

In the heat of battle, however, or at times of emotional intensity when the bond between Kurdai and Dante is threatened, the acid can begin to secrete sporadically and uncontrollably. Though Dante is still immune to its effects physically, it has before begun to burn through his clothes and his weapons; though this is typically a sign of an angrier Kurdai shining through, which is something Dante is always wary to not let happen.
