DESCRIPTION:
Have you ever met a girl that you passed by on the street and made you do a double take?  That made you wish you could get her number and possibly shag later?  Ceri is one such beauty of a girl.  She has perfect skin, perfect little lips, a perfect nose, and big, bright blue eyes.  Really, she looks like the perfect doll (without being creepy, just really really HOT).  Her blond hair shimmers like gold and is often in two ponytails on either side of her head, curled so that they are big ringlets in front of her shoulders.  She does have bangs that frame either side of her face, but they are more prominent on the right side, being shorter and less noticeable on the left.

PERSONALITY:
Teeeaaaasiiiiiing.  TEASING.  If there is one thing that Ceri knows how to be, its a tease.  She knows how to best use every damn trick in the book in order to sway a man to pay for her for a night, or just to get what she wants.  She knows that she's a pretty girl, but she's also not stupid enough to think that'll be all it takes to get someone to do something for you.  Or even enough to get by in life.  You have to be more than a pretty face.  Being an ideal woman for most men does help, however.  All of it though?  It's all just one big act.  

Ceri doesn't give two shits about anyone except for Ceri and Saraph.  The worlds a shitty place full of shitty people with only the fewest of exceptions.  Most just want to see what they can get out of other people.  Sure, they may not actively think that in their minds, but its there, in the subconscious or deeper.  As someone once said, "Everyone plays everyone else.  Thats just the way the world works."  Is it a bit of a cynical outlook?  Perhaps.  But thats the view that she was raised to have.  What use are connections between people?  They never last.  Only ONE has so far, and even thats complicated at best.  

She isn't a stand-offish individual though, she doesn't stand there openly mocking people.  When she isn't using her skills as an actress, she's watching people rather indifferently (or even coldly) from whatever corner or table she might be at.  Aside from Saraph, the only other thing that she cares about is money.  She cares about getting paid and being able to live.  She doesn't care how that may get done, she just wants to SURVIVE.  That is her ultimate goal in life, and if she can have some fun where she can snag it?  Sure.

She has…. major trust issues.  There is only one person she trusts and thats Saraph.  It's simply due to experiences that have left her believing that everyone has an ulterior motive to talking to someone, to keeping them as far away from her inner, and "real" self as possible.  She doesn't want to be hurt or broken down anymore.  Is her profession helpful to that?  Probably not, but the way that she's found in order to live has been working for her so why would she change it?  Yeah, adding in demon possession wasn't going to help AT ALL, but in reality…. It gets her more money and ability to live longer by paying those damn bills.  She does have an indomitable will in that fashion for despite the literal demons that plague her, she has not broken down too greatly because of them.  Yes, she is their vessel for a while, but not without some set understandings.  She's willing to work out a sort of agreement with them so that they can get what they want out of earth, and she can get more power from them.

To everyone she appears as a bright, cheerful girl that is enthusiastic.  She's interested, she's curious, she's classy.  She's a bit ditzy, but its never obnoxious or annoying.  Simply… endearing.  She likes cherries. She likes the color white.  She enjoys martini's.  She's adorable.  She is intelligent.  She is everything you could ever want a girl to be. And everyone is some term of endearment.  

After events that have occurred, Ceri has now revealed that true self to one other aside from Sareph, and she isn't sure how she feels about it.  The sensation of attraction is something she's used to in the form of lust, Lilith makes that an easy one to understand.  She understands camaraderie and friendship thanks to Sareph.  But Jean…. Jean is sneaking in something new.  A form of attraction she has not felt before.  It is like the kinship and closeness she recognizes with Sareph except its different.  And it scares her.  Her resolve to live is stronger than ever, and she knows she is delving even further down a dark path in order to achieve.  So is it really that she wants to live, or that she's ready to let herself die?  She knows she's become more reckless lately, and she realizes part of the reason is Lilith getting bored and convincing her to do things.  And still she maintains her various masks in order to continue gaining that money that will let them live.  Her objective is clearer to her now.  She wants to live her life and keep Sareph safe.  But… she also wants Jean in there as well.  To do this, she is far more willing to fight and put her life on the line for as much as she wants to survive.

DEMON PERSONALITY:
-> Lilith

Lilith is a silky whisper in her mind.  It is quiet, it watches, it drinks in the sensations felt by its host while she partakes in carnal acts with her partners.  It does not scream and demand, it does not shove its host around, it whispers.  It whispers those little hints and words needed in order to get a customer, how best to charm an officer to look the other way.  The succubus is that little quiet voice in the back of her mind that tells her the best sorts of advice for a given situation where ones charm and charisma must be used.  

That isn't the only situation, however.  When Ceri is servicing a customer?  Ohhhhh… Ohh the sexy advice that is given.  In reality, sometimes she lets the succubus take control so she can please said customers to the absolute max.  After all, if she gives them the best sex ever, then they are more likely to give her money.  AND they may come look for her for a repeat service which is always delightful.  It's probably why she has as many regular customers as she does have.  

The succubus doesn't always take the lead however, its only when its host asks or obviously needs it help.  After all, if a demon were to do all the work?  Neither Ceri, nor the succubus would have it.  That is counter productive and boring.  It's probably because of this fact that Ceri has been so strong and resilient against and with the demons that possess her.  For she does have more than one. But that'll be later….

Child of Pride: Mordred

Mordred is a gravely, deep voice that resonates within her small frame.  He is far more quiet and stern than Lilith is, preferring only to comment when he feels it is best to.  He feeds on that sense of pride that Ceri carries regarding her skills of charming and tricking people.  That reckless pride that fills her when she says, "I will survive."  He can see just how prideful she is, even if she isn't that aware of it at the moment, and that is what drew him to her.  He offers advice when he feels that Ceri needs it, believing that his way is most likely the best, and yet he doesn't argue if Lilith or Ceri disagree's or offers other suggestions.  Why bother?  He is a Child of Pride, he KNOWS that his way MUST be the correct way.  And honestly, 8/10 times he is.  He is best for combat, as well as charm and charisma depending on the situation.

Considering the recent combat streak that is possessing the little waif of a girl, Mordred is amused by giving her advice on how to fight, increasing the amount of combat knowledge that she currently possesses.  Though he is well aware that she doesn't have the proper form to be a true warrior.  Just like Lilith, however, he resides in the back back seat, watching and waiting quietly.

HISTORY:

What do you do when the world never showed you any kindness or love?  From the moment that Ceri Priddy was born, she had no idea what a loving, working family was at all.  Often times she'd get forgotten while her mother played games on the computer, her father out at work barely making the grade.  Her older sister was one of those popular, make-up plastered, cheerleader types (rather like Barbies…) and only dealt with her if their parents yelled at her too.  When she was in middle school, they figured she was old enough to know better, often times yelling more at her or questioning with sneer's why she wasn't doing something.  

Daddy's job started to not do so well, and so his drinking got worse and worse.  The first time he got violent, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.  She had been doing her homework by her desk, her sister out at some party and her mother was out buying groceries.  He came in smelling of alcohol and began questioning her, demanding to know why she the light was still on and why she was such a fucking quiet kid.  Why she wasn't sweeter and cheerful like her sister, why she was such a downer.  Question after question that she barely understood considering it was so odd.  When she began to cry because she was scared, he slapped her.  That was the first time he beat her.  

Her mother came home and saw her laying on the floor in tears, blood dripping from her split lip and trembling like a leaf in the wind.  Her mother stopped and stared at her, looking at all the marks on her body and she just shook her head, "I knew I shouldn't have kept you."  She might not have realized it, but a 6 year old does understand that statement.  

That was when something snapped in her mind, when the cracks began to form.  On some level, she knew her parents hadn't wanted her, that she was the black sheep in a perfect little family for reasons that she didn't, and never found out.  She knew she didn't quite look like them with her bright blue eyes and naturally light blonde hair.  For the next couple of weeks she wondered at it, explaining her injuries at school as "accidents."  They were still her family and they kept a roof over her head, kept her fed and warm.  

During the next year she found herself drawn more to wandering about when her father was going to be home (if she could get away with it), to hiding and drawing when she felt lonely.  But… that was also when she began to dream of this woman in her mind.  She was beautiful and reminded her a little of a ram with the horns on her head.  She would whisper words to her while she slept, and one time… One time she woke up and she thought she saw an outline of her in her room!  Ecstatic, she bolted upright and sat at the edge of her bed, listening again to the smooth, sultry voiced that whispered to her.  "My name is Lily.  What is yours?"  "I'm Ceri.  Will you be my friend?"  She asked her in a whisper, daring to hope that maybe, just maybe the pretty woman would say yes.  

She smiled at the young Ceri, the young girl not noticing the glint that was in her eyes.  "Of course darling." And that… was how she met the succubus that would watch her for years until she was of the proper age, wait patiently until the girl would take any of the offers that she gave her.  Oh yes… they became… "friends."  Lilith would wait patiently until this girl would foolishly sell her soul to her, rather amused to see where she would go from here.  

It was during Key Stage 2 when she was 9 years old.  She had just transferred into the school due to issues with the last one involving broken glass and a boy with a black eye.  She was brought into the classroom and told to sit beside one of the girls which she did rather wordlessly.  Just like before she did not talk to anyone, she did not sit with anyone at lunch, and she went off alone when she could so she could talk to Lily.  Rumors started and she was even more alienated than before, but she didn't particularly care.  She had long since locked herself away from other people in the world.  

Two weeks into the school year, Sareph turned to her one day and just started talking to her.  Ceri was so shocked that she barely understood what to do.  That was probably one of the few times that Lily fell quiet before altogether going silent for an extended period of time.  The two quickly became friends, looking out for each other whenever they could.  That was probably the beginning of the single bright spot that would remain with her forever.  They realized their commonalities, and Ceri… She realized what it was like to have a real friend and not just Lily.  Honestly, Lily wasn't too happy about this at all, but she knew… She knew that she was the girls first and foremost friend and whenever she wanted her help… she would call out to her.  

For a time, her life was relatively.. normal.  She had no idea how she felt about any of it, or how she was supposed to act now.  For the most part she remained the same, shut off from everyone except for Sareph, and avoiding her home as much as she could.  It was a short lived sort of hopefulness though, because once she turned 15, her mother started poking at her.  She was telling her that she was an ungrateful child, that the should go get a job to help support the family.  Honestly, Ceri just looked at her then walked away, ignoring her shouts and curses.  Her sister had gone and run off with some boy, and her father… well… He still beat her sometimes, but usually he was comatose by the time she got home which was exactly the point.  

Rather than agreeing to her mothers demands, Ceri made a different decision.  It began when she went out late into the city after school, wandering the streets with her school bag as she used her meager allowance to pay for one last bite to eat for that day.  A rather handsome man came up to her and asked her what she was doing.  At first she had no idea how to respond, but he took her around, got her more food, and just talked with her.  Then later…. later he took her to a hotel room and asked her if he could do things.  Things she had only seen her mother do sometimes when daddy wasn't home.  She did not answer immediately.  He kissed her, and she felt nothing but a sort of warmth in her belly.  Then she told him, yes.  When they were finished he left money on the dresser, more money than she had ever SEEN at home.  That was it.  She knew what she was going to do now.  

She called out to Lily, asked her for her help.  She knew now exactly what Lily was though, and she wasn't stupid enough to get away with just "prettier words" or "best sex ever."  No, she wanted things in bits at a time and if the succubus wanted to taste the mortal realm again, then she would have to abide by Ceri's terms.  After some finagling between the two women, human and demon, they came to an agreement and were bonded together on an autumn night in her bedroom.  Lily began to teach her what men wanted, how to act, what to do when you were alone with them, all of these things that she had never known or cared to know before.  Now she wanted to know all of it.  She wanted to keep making money like she had with that handsome man.

So it was.  Thats how she lived her life, and boy was it profitable.  Lonely men, married men… neither mattered as long as they had money.  But she was smart too, and she did her damnedest to make sure no one at school found out since… well… that would cause a shitload of problems that she didn't want to deal with.  Sareph also didn't seem to quite like it, but it got them both money.  It was when they were in their final year of Keystone 4 that the incident happened.  She had gotten careless, hadn't double checked no one from school was around.  

There was a boy, a boy whose name she doesn't remember who found out about her secret job.  He began to harass her, tried to bully her into any number of uncomfortable situations.  She got lucky each time and managed to dodge out of it.  Sareph found out.  She looked at her best friend and warned her that they would probably have to leave soon.  So Ceri gathered up her things at home that she absolutely needed like the money she had saved up, clothes, etc.  Little things she could carry with her in a bag that wouldn't be suspicious when she came into school.  The next day, Sareph came into school, shot the boy, and the two quickly fled.  Boy was she glad she had as much saved as she did.  

They escaped down to London, England.  For the first couple of months they were homeless on the street, sleeping where they could and avoiding the police as much as possible.  Sareph got an actual job and Ceri…. well… she visited nightclubs and relieved men of their money.  Its what she knew how to do!  She was already 18, she could go into those places.  Along the way she ended up encountering an owner who ended up hiring her to be a bartender and occasional dance girl if they need an extra gal for a night.  Though… that doesn't mean she's quite given up her "other" job either… It's a lucrative business, and honestly?  Goes rather well with her current real job.  

Life was relatively simple while in London.  She's been working her bartending/stripping job to much success and consistency that still allows her her freedom.  It was on one of these lucrative nights that she happened to meet Jean who was visiting the city and ended up getting a private dance at the end of the night.  You could say that was when he first wormed his way into her mind.  But he was just a particularly brilliant blip on the pathway of her life, and so she figured she'd never meet him again.  It was three days later when she caught Sareph on a particularly bad high, stopping her before she could kill a particular idiot that had thought it was best to cross her friend.  That was when they bumped into some child (Blank Edwards), not realizing that he was a demon hunter like her best friend.  Nothing came of it.  

February came, and Ceri ended up meeting another Kerry in the Inferis version of her work, a little surprised to see an underage girl trying to sneak in via Hell.  An ingenious thing really, though her demon was a complete idiot.  He thought he could take on Lilith.  He started an argument with her, but it was diffused thankfully and in the end the four shared drinks first in Hell and then on Earth.  She waived her inside.  No sense in letting her boss know, he wasn't really going to care as long as the girl was attractive.  But… it was later after that meeting that she made a huge mistake.  Lilith had heard whispers of a Ritualist/Templar war that was brewing, and she convinced Ceri to join in it.  So she went to Rome to help blow up the Vatican and Templars.  She did well for the most part… until some Russian man found her and gave chase.  He shattered her right knee cap and broke her right leg, and was about to kill her when this huge werewolf came out of nowhere and saved her.  She knew it had to be Jean, especially considering he changed back once they got to the train station and escaped before the explosions went off.  

The pair remained in Rome until the end of February because she couldn't be moved.  Jean had to heal it himself, and there was no way that she could move effectively and get back to London.  Now…. she's going to see how Sareph reacts and….. then plans that will happen.  She will end up dragged into plans to take down an archdemon.
