DESCRIPTION:
- David's pride and joy, these finely crafted hand crossbows are called Nero and Bianco, respectively the left and right one, the black and white. As seen in the picture above, they seem to be a hybrid of a crossbow and pistol, as they are. They fire bolts like a crossbow, but are wielded much like a pair of pistols. He often uses both at once, and quite enjoys their distinctive coloration, to the extent he often uses complimentarily colored bolts; white bolts for Nero, black bolts for Bianco, In addition, he is quite fond of referring to them as his Yin and Yang; should one be lost, the other would destroy everything, then itself. In terms of crossbows, they are 140 lb bows, in that it takes the force to pull one-hundred and forty pounds to cock the string; this high tension gives it a strong kick, though it certainly takes skill and practice to load and reload. Each is fitted with both iron-sight and a detachable scope, in the event he'd ever need to snipe.
- Morte e Rovina... Death and Destruction, although unlike his crossbows, there are no real distinguishing features short of the name of each being engraved on the outward-facing side of the barrel, with Morte's facing to Bowie's left, Rovina to the right. Both guns are Five-seveNs, and hold the FN 5.7x28mm ammunition the gun is named for. Like other guns of this type, they are fairly accurate, have a longer range than most pistols, are semi-automatic, and can penetrate certain types of body armor much more effectively than other weapons. They hold an extended clip of 30 rounds, are easily concealed, and can be used in nearly any environment or weather condition without much hindrance.
- Those are fine and good for the long-range encounters and such, yes, but what of close-quarters? That is where Rosso comes in. Rather aptly named, given the amount of blood he's cleaned from the blade over the years. Anyways, Rosso is a falchion, a sort of medieval blade, and it has been loyal to David since the 1200s, kept in working condition by near-constant repairs and cleaning. It is, as a falchion, a one-handed sword, heavier than a rapier of shortsword, and is made with the intentions of chopping, much like a scimitar.
- In addition to his legitimately USEFUL weapons, David ALSO has his Cristallinos. These are essentially an ambiguous number of crystal balls, carried in a satchel at his hip. Each individual ball is about eight inches in diameter, and weigh about four pounds each. As such, it tends to take noticeable effort on his part, given how many he tends to carry. They are all made of chemically treated quartz, such that they are all transparent like glass. Their most common use is either juggling them like fushigi balls (which he invented, obvi) or hurling them at the faces of others, often just casually. He seems to never recollect them after throwing them, and it is said that he gets them custom-made by [DATA EXPUNGED]
- His final weapon, his Lustrini, is merely a fancy name for the untold quantities of glitter on his person. The glitter is gold in color, and is mostly used for dramatic effect, bothering people, as a distraction, or RARELY for a legitimate purpose, like blinding someone, or mixing glitter and some form of poison to make a seemingly harmless cloud of the stuff. It is kept in pouches hidden under his clothing, as well as in his hair, on his face, and covering his clothing. It was once used on Edward Cullen, a delusional nerd who thought he was a vampiric sex symbol; it transformed him into exactly that, but permanently sparkley.
