DESCRIPTION:
- Throwing knives are used for exactly as their name would imply; they are knives that are thrown.  This means that they are lightweight enough to go soaring with accuracy into their target.  Maeve's nippers have all been blessed for the most effectiveness against the Demonic forces in Inferis.  She sharpens all of them herself, and usually can be found with at least 10 silver coated ones hidden upon her person at any given time.  Most often they are effective as distractions or causing enough lighter wounds that it ends up wearing down an enemy.  Not to mention, because they are rather easy to hide, they can also be used as a regular dagger would be in case they can't be thrown.  They just might not cause as much damage is the only thing.  

Generally when Maeve goes out on a hunting excursion, she brings at least thirty of these small throwing knives.  They are light, can compact quite easily due to their thinness and general make, and weigh her down only slightly.  Compared to her other weapons that she'll bring and her armor that manifests, they hardly affect her.  Besides, she's trained enough to have as much weight upon her person as someone in the army might, so she's used to having to deal with it.  Also remember, she has increased endurance when in Inferis as well and during a fight she might not try to retrieve all of the ones that she's thrown out.
