OVERVIEW

Red Love (赤愛) is a group that was originally based out of Japan before spreading to the country of Italy, setting up a base in Rome and right at the Vatican's back door. Going under a different name at the time (Red Lotus), the group performed a daring attack on the city under ex-leader Reis Arakaki. This may of been the single largest (or at least most organized) conflict between the Templar Order and the scattered Ritualists, giving the cult a bit of a hefty reputation amongst the criminal underworld. Unfortunately, the Order successfully eradicated the group's base of operations in Rome and terminated a good chunk of the active cultists. Following a trail, the Templars even took this a step further, infuriated by the attack on their homeland, and eradicated the remnants of the cult in Japan. Red Lotus was finished, or so everyone believed.

Little known to most, the cult had a third base of operations located near the Johannesburg tear. This splinter was small, but eventually came to be the place where the survivors of the "cleansings" gathered. The small group suddenly grew larger, and then larger yet. The same demon that possessed Reis helped in this, using a mouthpiece known as Alice Engelherz, a far more cooperative host than the previous leader of the whole shindig. With a little bit of mysterious funding and a take no shit attitude, the cult was re-organized and a few policies were changed, including the name, no longer wishing to be connected to the now dead Red Lotus group.

They recruited mentally unstable people and serial killers, creating a violent member base. They started to commit violent crimes all in the name of the demons they worshiped. They wrote love poems in their enemies blood, a horrifying and strange sight to most. Even through their violent nature, the cult remains underground, blaming their murders on the high crime rate of the city that they resided in, or even went the extra length to commit these bloody acts in other countries where it would seem completely random. They had money to do this, and nobody asked why, as long as their knives continued to feed on the beautiful red substance that was blood.

Fanatic. Insane. Murderous. Dangerous. All of the things one would think of a cult of Ritualists was Red Love, and they are not to be fucked with.

EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING
Red Love members are notorious for using melee weapons and sharp objects. They are often supplied with blades of all kinds, from machetes to katanas, but can also be seen using simple blunt objects such as lead pipes or steel baseball bats. Many of them are creative killers, and could probably kill you with a spoon and a piece of string if given the chance. However, it's not uncommon for these cultists to occasionally carry a side arm for some additional insurance that they get the job done. They are also trained to not speak of their involvements in the cult, trying their best to stay in shadows despite their fanatic nature.

ADDED NOTES
Red Love is a bit paranoid about it's existence, as are most Ritualist groups, so they only accept fellow Ritualists, Demons, and Civilians. However, if the odd psychopathic Demon Hunter wishes to lend their hand out to the cause, than they are more than welcome to.
