Lunch Meeting (Thomas/Agent Lisa)
11:35 AM, February 7th, 2012
Langely, Virginia, united States of America
System of Sol, Milky Way Galaxy
Thomas shifted in his seat, the Presidential Motorcade plowing its way through the roads of Virginia. Although he had no issue visiting any number of departments that he was responsible for, and, in turn, were responsible for whatever service they provide, he never liked the motorcade. Too much attention and fuss, and always an inconvenience to the people of this great nation. He stared at the cars pulled over to the shoulder of the road, some watching with excitement, others obviously annoyed. He was, personally, with the latter group.
Some of his aides were talking to him during the drive. He simply nodded his head, but waved away any papers they gave him. He could read, after all, and he was well aware of the Google to look for what he didn't know. All of them had college degrees, but none of them had the right mind to use all that knowledge. Each one trying to push their own personal agenda. He huffed and crossed his arms, looking back out the window now.
His torment was ended soon enough, as the motorcade rounded a corner and the CIA building slid into view. A smile crept over his face, knowing that soon he would rid himself of the bumbling fools that considered themselves his equal. To say he exited the vehicle posthaste was an understatement. Before the vehicle came to a stop, he popped the door open and took a small lead onto the concrete, barely stumbling from the sideways velocity. Standing himself up straight and fixing his suit, he moved on towards the main building as though nothing happened.
By the time he had entered the building, though, Secret Service had caught up to him. A serious bunch, those me, though he had to weed out a few of his previous protectors to get his current group. Acute senses, fast to react, and, most importantly, they listened to him. With a small hand motion, they slowed down, extending the distance between themselves and their mark. With a large amoung of confidence, and a patented smile, he approaches the front desk.
”Greetings to you, young lady,” he says, leaning over the counter.
”Ah, a pleasure to see you today, President Thomas,” the younger woman says, looking a bit unsure whether to return the warm greeting or not. ”I believe we have you scheduled for...”
”One o'clock, ma'am, but I was feeling a bit hungry. Perhaps I can talk to someone who doesn't mind a lunch meeting?” The receptionist smiles, before picking up the phone. ”Also, know of any good places to eat 'round here? Maybe with some good steamers?”
The receptionist pauses for a moment, smiling politely again. ”Let me put you in touch with an agent first, Mr. President...”

Re: Lunch Meeting (Thomas/Agent Lisa)
Her day had started like any normal day. She woke up, took her run and ate a breakfast. Afterwards she showered and put on her suit as she needed to go to work. The drive was the usual catch every red light one where people honked and flipped everyone else off. Really, there was nothing different on this day than there was any other day. Lisa didn't have roadrage though, so she sat and watched the light change until she finally managed to pull into her parking space and headed in.
The mass of people around her were a bit disorienting. Something big was going on and as was natural, Lisa was unsure on what was happening. After she clocked in, she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Lisa? They need you up front." The man motioned towards the general direction of the reception office.
"Okay.. but- whats going on?" Lisa had no answer, instead she was being nudged towards the front. A group of people were in a sort of divvy; running about as if they had no idea what to do. It was dizzying and a mess, really. In the midst of it stood an older man and - Oh god was that the president?
Lisa blinked a few times with her own mind a bit frazzled. How in the world-? The reception motioned her over with a smile and gave introductions.
"President Thomas? This is Agent Lisa Smith, she will be the one to escort you for the day. She may be a bit young, but she's a very good agent." Her hands motioned to Lisa with a wide smile.
Lisa, unsure what to do, saluted with a straight face. "Hello, Mr. President. Where would you like to go?"
(I had a longer post but my webs ate it. Also please date your first post XD I'd prefer earlier in Feb if that's okay)
