The Trevi Fountain
Ah...Rome. She'd love to stay here for a little bit. Even if only two days before she had committed mass murder in the world's most holiest of holies, Vatican City. She had recently gotten some new digs from a nearby store so now she was wearing some ironic Italian shirt, bright, light blue jeans, and a pair of dark brown strapped sandals. She was sitting on the edge of the Trevi Fountain with the underwater lights back lighting her as she sat, body scrunched in uncomfortably. She didn't like all the Italians nor the tourists around her; after what happened at the Vatican she was having some aftershock problems. She was more nervous...scared someone would see her, recognize her. That wouldn't be good for her OR Gron-Miro's future plans.
The night sky was barely a night sky. With all of the lights of the city, stars were barely visible. As she looked up at the great blue dome closer, she noticed that clouds were covering most of the sky. They looked dark and heavy, maybe rain clouds. Must be a rainy week. There was a concertina playing nearby, passers by dropping coins into a small fedora. The man, from what she could see, was rather lanky with clothes way too big for him with a gaunt face and scruffy stubble. He had good fingers though, pedaling out a lively little tune that touched on her ear so sweetly. Music was something that always put her in the kinder spirits, loosened her ever-tense muscles and made her hum. It put water on that little anger pyre.
She reached into her pocket with a small, child-like smile and pulled out a euro. She was used to yen as a kid, but with all the travelling she did, she had to learn exchange rate quickly. She nestled the coin onto a closed hand, right above her concealed thumb. From the waist up, she turned and faced the grandiose fountain with its sparkling blue water and marvelous statues. She stooped her head and gave the lucky coin a little peck and a few words. "When in Rome..." Her thumb gave a flick and the coin flew through the air, landing with a nice plop as it slowly sank into the waters.

Re: When in Rome... [OPEN]
Jean moved through the pale light of the full moon like a man possessed, his every foot step taking him deeper into the dream like world that he was now a part of. And with each step into the night and that light of which nothing could be said an as of yet unfelt energy surged through the Cajuns body, and with each surge of energy the world he was now part of came into sharper view. It was a world much like the one he had lived in but hours before, but things where no where near as mundane as they had once been. Colors, once muted and dull where now crisp and new. Sounds that had once passed unheard now filled his ears with an unspeakably beautiful music that almost had tears in his eyes. And smells... Oh the smells that he now scented would have put the greatest chefs in the world to shame! Even those that would normally have been repulsive where worth noting if only for the fact that he had never scented anything like them before. Yes, this new moon filled world was a wonderful place filled with more life then ever before.
But whats more he felt FREE for the first time in a long time... He felt as if all his responsibilities, all his stress had simply vanished. It felt as if he didnt have a care in this world nor any other. No, all he need worry about was his head long sprint into the night! After all, he was more then a man then, more then any mortal could ever hope to be! He knew this... He knew this in his heart of hearts. To him mortal men where but sheep while he was a wolf. A wolf that could take their pick of the flock when ever they wished. No longer where they constrained by the same laws as mortal men. He had transcended past the laws of human kind and it was exhilarating!
With each passing second the light of the moon seeped deeper into him, invigorating his every move but whats more it changed him like never before. Only one thing was odd, and that was the old wolf was remarkably silent. Or was he? Jean could feel him in the for front of his mind, but it was not as intrusive as it normally was. Far from it in fact, Jean and by extension the wolf could not put a finger on it... But it was almost as if they where merging on a level unknown on the mortal plane. It excited them. Then it hit them... A Smell that they knew, not well no... But well enough to put a face to it. IT was one of the band of ill fated ritualists that had attacked the Vatican... With a howl they looped forward moving closer to the source of the smell and the music they just now began to discern.
