DESCRIPTION:
- The Shakujo is a six foot tall walking staff made of Japanese cherry wood topped with an elaborate bronze cap that has many rings hanging from ether side. And while its purpose is mostly ceremonial, Kaede has been known to use it as weapon from time to time when absolutely necessary.

- Kaedes Prayer beads are just that, prayer beads. What makes his unique is that each and every bead on his strand contains a different and wholly unique demon. And with every demon Kaede seals still another bead is added to the strand. Currently, his strand contains eighty-seven beads as well as various charms along its length.

Note: The Larger the bead the more powerful the demon contained with in is.

- While working Kaede wears a kesa, but unlike most kesa this garment has been created using a Kevlar mesh and weave to help sturdy it up as well as protect him from small arms fire. This garment is colored in various shades of blue and black, with his favorite set being unique in the fact that its red and white in coloration. Now you may be wondering why a man whos life is dedicated to peace would have such a piece of gear. The answer is rather simple, Kaede is no fool. The people he deals with are one and all a violent lot most of whom have committed murder or even worse sins. And while he is one that wants to see the good in people... He would rather not let that get him killed. Hence the need for protection, as to how he afforded it? Kazuya was more then willing to foot the bill.

And just why would a Shinto priest NEED a kevlar coat? Justify how and why he has it; custom specification, but it seems somewhat counter-productive for a man who otherwise advocates peace.

For one, his average day is filled with being shot at! How many ritualists do you know that actually want their demons expunged? A Kevlar coat is more then necessary. And for second, his student/friend (Kazuya) is loaded to the gills with money... Which is the reason he was able to afford more then one set of these priestly robes.
