OVERVIEW:
- The Emerald Studded Sword is in fact a very small dagger that can be barely used for a letter opener. It hangs on a chain of adamant around Paimon’s throat and is for all appearances merely a piece of gaudy jewelry. However the little dagger hides a powerful defensive power that has allowed Paimon to pull off some of his biggest bluffs. Drawing the blade and activating its power causes the blade to take on the appearance of a great scimitar wreathed in hellfire, however this is a mere illusion as the blade remains small and dull in truth. It does, however, grant Paimon an incredibly powerful defense, essentially making him untouchable by any soulenergy power up to rank 2. However while active, Paimon cannot take any overtly offensive action or the power will be quelled. Furthermore the power of this defense is so taxing upon his Soulenergy that even while the ability is inactive, Paimon is physically weaker than most other demons of similar rank.

1] At Level 1, making him untouchable to all but Level X power is a little overkill. Maybe those of Level 1/2 will suffice; and you can raise it as you go. (You won't relinquish other Apparatus slots, don't worry.)
