OVERVIEW:
When utilized, the wormtongue amalgam allows Etreven's words to be more than simply deeply persuasive and tailored to the listener: they can be made into an obsession, a fixation, an exertion of literal control in the form of a command, concept or word.

The listener will find themselves obsessed with the phrase or word, committed to its execution with no sense of self or of preservation. They will be convinced that they are acting only in their own interests, unaware that Etreven is the origin of the obsession.
