OVERVIEW:
- Manus Invisibillis is a way to make the world your own, well, make it at least seem like your own. The Apparatus is based entirely on illusion. It invades the mind of it's victims and shows them what the practitioner wants them to see, hear, feel, smell, and taste. What is shown is never real, however, this doesn't mean that it doesn't seem real. At what point does an illusion become real? If all five senses are fooled how could someone know the difference? These illusions are not perfect however. Each illusion is limited to the imagination of the practitioner. Not only that but even with all five senses fooled an illusion can still be thwarted with personal questions or ignoring it. At lower levels it is best used to distract those from the truth or hide something. Later levels it can make a Hell of heaven or a Heaven of Hell. This art requires a specially crafted medallion that must be worn or carried when the art is being practiced. The sigil for Manus Invisibillis glitters with a ghostly indigo when it's magic is called on.
Level 1: Beyond the Veil: The practitioner is a ghost when he wants to be. In some ways this can be seen as invisibility, however, the way that the demon disappears is not through masking his form. Instead he projects a field of unimportance around him. He becomes the most perfect wall flower. Others can still see him but they pay him no mind. He becomes insignificant, just a fly on the wall. This power works just as though he were invisible though if prompted others can remember seeing someone or something, it never seems important though.

REVISE
Okay, iffy about a couple of things.
1] First - this is kind of getting into bunnying territory simply for the fact that you're controlling what other characters see and experience. I don't mind this provided it's agreed on - but you're basing your power almost entirely on the agreement of other characters'. It also limits the use but kind of makes it slightly... controlling of other peoples' creative properties. Certain things might make certain characters react badly and in an adverse way to how their character wants to go. It's a neat concept - but you might want to just take this into account and maybe change it.
2] Okay, for a first level this is waaaay too broad a specification. Prime example of the Pyrokinesis -> Fireball example I use in the template - don't worry, that's not your fault, it's a difficult issue. Perhaps something more fitting might be the ability to cloak a small area in shadow through obfuscation? Perhaps simply toggled invisibility? Even a truth serum-type ability - in the right circumstances with the right catches, of course - would be perfectly fitting and the right sort of track.
3] If you do go ahead with this regardless of what I've said, then you also need to tone down later powers and add a radius or specification for it.
Overall: this is a VERY nice idea that conceptually I have no problems with - I can just forsee its application becoming a minor problem is all. Feel free to chat to me about this on Skype, if you have it - my Skype's boom-its-ross.

Much better. Might be a touch difficult to work with but you shouldn't have any problems so long as you're clear when writing it up. And that is a REALLY nice concept. A field of subtlety. =P
