DESCRIPTION:
- The H&K G11 was an initial frontrunner to become West Germany's new weapon. It's lightweight, compact design was helped in part due to it being of the bullpup variety, but a number of innovations were also created for this gun. It fires caseless ammunition, instead using solid propellant as a impromptu case to hold the bullet in place. The magazine mounts parallel to the barrel, saving space on the underside and making it easier to use. Perhaps the most unique feature of this gun was should in its burst fire feature, which (in conjunction with caseless ammunition) fired 3-round bursts in rapid succession, and had internal mechanisms to delay the recoil until after the third round left the chamber. The gun also feature semi-automatic and full-automatic firing options.
This gun is Thomas' bread and butter. Once spotted (or, if he gets the drop, once the element of surprise is lost), he relies on range in hopes of staying far away from combat entirely. The gun's unique function of delaying recoil allows him to use burst fire with surprising accuracy and effectiveness, though he does switch to other firing modes when the situation calls for it. Due to the gun and magazine's weight, he can carry a lot more rounds than he would with an M16 or the eventual Germany rifle replacement, the G3, and thus doesn't often find himself running short on ammunition in Inferis unless he stays far longer than intended.
- CrossGear is, of course, what allows Templar to cross into Inferis. While many Templars enjoy it being installed in a watch or some other device, Thomas proved to be the forgetful type and leave his CrossGear-enabled watch at home. Eventually, with the blessing of his surperiors at the time, he opted for an implant. Although painful and, at times, being uncomfortable, he finds it a small price to pay as to ensure he won't be stranded in another dimension.
- Purity is an axe that Thomas has taken a liking to, ever since he saw it on his first trip to the armory. While the wood is of little consequence, it's the metal itself that's interesting. Although most Templar weapons are of cold iron or silver, this one is steel, having been forged with holy water for God knows what reason. While being more durable than silver, whether or not holy water-steel is as effective against some demons is up in the air. While Thomas doesn't expect to get into close combat, he nevertheless is prepared for it, and he thought that no other weapon could suit his tastes for slaying demons up close.
- Thomas' Inferis Armor is part material, part divine. The base outfit itself, largely what he wore in Vietnam, was a product of the real world. Two layers of fabric are used, with a protective layer of liquid armor in between. The fabric itself is of special note, being coated in a nano-armor compound to strengthen it and make it much more durable than it should be, and the liquid armor provides a means of spreading the energy of kinetic attacks more evenly and farther out, whilst also absorbing some of the energy in the process. Despite being products of modern science, this is far from invulnerability. His armor was designed with speed, mobility, and stealth in mind, and thus his armor is to help him survive should his primary objectives fail. Its protection against supernatural attacks is varied, largely depending on the nature of the powers themselves.

Is this a WIP? You appear to be missing an image for your Aegis.

APPROVED
I know you're the self-proclaimed connoisseur of restraint, Izzy, but just be careful with that armour. I know you will.
