The P.U.R.G.E. cell, often simply known only as PURGE, has an inherent purpose similar though not identical to that of the Templars. PURGE is not only made up of Templar units; though the affiliation and recognition there is strong. PURGE is essentially an elite cabal that has come across as a midway point between both the Templar order and the political outcry in response to many countries worldwide being kept in the dark: and whilst the Order themselves do have fingers in a great many pies, the weaker link of their organisation has often been the culling of Demonic activities on Earth, specifically Ritualism.

In part this outcry caused the PURGE cell to be formed: and in part it was a retaliatory reflex taking part after the events of February 12th in the Vatican City on both the Templars' and the hushed meeting behind part. It is a joint-operations project formed of a very small group of high-calibre military special forces members from across the globe in a team of no more than six active military members and two operators. Their directive is one thing and one alone; instead of any political control or suppression of the Demon existence in mainstream world, PURGE sees only a single drive, for one thing: to destroy Ritualism.

PURGE's existence is strictly secret, and its existence is utterly deniable. It essentially acts as an anti-Ritualist death squad, doesn't ask questions, and gets jobs done quickly, quietly, and effectively, with a two-pronged effect: destroying Ritualist existence, and sending a message to the unfortunate sorry Satanist fucks who still exist out there beyond the group of still-warm corpses they leave behind. No injured. No prisoners. They don't care whether their targets are armed, hostile, women, men, teenagers: it's point and pull the trigger for them, clean and simple execution. Reinforcing a zero tolerance policy on Ritualism that the Templars let slack: and in response there was a terrorist assault on the Vatican, which cannot be allowed to happen again.

PURGE is a military and Templar coalition and as such requests that the members that join from special forces and intelligence groups worldwide are from multiple nations; so we don't have three American Navy SEALs or something along those lines. Diversity is key; and the PURGE operation will typically be stationed in Washington D.C.'s Templar facilities, though with a fast-track to the airport so members can be flown out at a moment's notice. We request both Templars and special forces agents have some form of residence nearby as PURGE operations may be carried out at short notice.

The world has been opened up and manipulated by Demons for millennia now. Count PURGE as its response: cause the powers that be have noticed, and they're pissed off.

EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING
TEMPLARS: Highest calibre typical equipment and Templar training. Preferred members be those with merit; the teamwork dynamic between the PURGE member sis paramount. Operator member requested to be high-tier intelligence officers, preferably in Blackhaven, with experience leading and directing teams.

NON-TEMPLARS: State-of-the-art military-grade and prototype hardware, and training from one of many special forces institutes universally. Only the best of the best will be taken - and we will cherrypick from a multi-national group, so they won't all be members of the Navy SEALs; there must be some diversity. Operator member requested to be high-tier intelligence officer, preferably from MI6 or CIA, with similar experience leading and directing teams from radio contact.

ADDED NOTES
TEMPLARS: All Templars that join must be experienced members with no moral restraint, but no Paladins. PURGE activities are considered to be on par with typical Templar duties.

NON-TEMPLARS: All non-Templars that join must have experience in a special forces cabal somewhere else and be able to gel well within a team dynamic. PURGE activities are considered to trump typical and political duties of the special forces team you are a member of, and your stationing will be altered so that you serve in a country's embassy nearby. (Read: if you ever wanted to make a military non-Templar character, this is your chance and opportunity, for PURGE's activities will be strictly real-world.)

OPERATORS: Operators are not field agents, and as such will monitor from behind a screen in a command post elsewhere, giving direction and essentially acting as the all-seeing intelligence and reconnaissance eye of PURGE.
